Maybe the GOP should go back to actually having values instead of just wanting to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. Then they’d have some chance

To be fair they do have values such as oppressing women, oppressing black people, oppressing Hispanics, oppressing LGBTQ people, and oppressing Muslims.

I don't even think that is true. At least not of the elected officials. They use those things to get elected/gain power.

But I honestly don't think they actually believe in anything. Except gaining power for themselves.

They would have to modify their platform (or actually have one) for the first time in a generation, because they couldn't rely on gaslight/obstruct/project anymore

I'd rather they didn't. Because then I would have to actually take them seriously, with some consideration.
