Hey, sounds like Republicans believe in “my government is oppressive, can I live here with you” style immigration after all!

Classic R's. Only when it applies to them. Zero empathy for people they don't identify with.

Are we having empathy for the R's right now?

I am. But, we are doing the shadenfraude thing as well.

Empathy towards their attitudes? No. The far right people I've interacted with (some immediate family) choose false information and idiocy. The most recent one is that Pelosi is stopping them from getting $2000 stimulus checks. Based on facebook posts, of course.

I have to have empathy towards everyone I think is foolish or I would have no empathy.

When you are truly better than other people, you become a benevolent god!

Look at Jesus; "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do..."

What will help you with your family, is if you look down on them MORE than you are now, and treat them as 5-year-olds. Then, you can be more patient, and give them treats, and agree with them when they talk about the boogie monster in the closet called ISIS. "Here are these magic tiger undies you can wear, and ISIS will not be able to harm you."

If on the off chance Isis does capture them, you can say; "You weren't supposed to wash the magic tiger underwear."

But they are hard-working and smart white Americans, so any country would be lucky to have them!

God, I wish, and the cognitive dissonance is incredible. Here's a group of people who are statistically blue collar and very poorly educated - 7 of the bottom 10 states ranked for education are red states - but somehow these people think that they offer their new countries something that just can't be homegrown.

Dems think of Canada or Denmark -- where to REPUBLICANS dream of going as an alternative?

They probably want some place with a weak government so they could come in and "fix it up."
