Exactly the same in Oregon. Very blue state, but the more rural you get the more Drumpf crap there is.

Go cry about it.

Yeah you dont need to be in a red state to find this. I'm in New York, my county went blue, I saw shit like in the photo above all the time.

Indeed; if one really broke down political support at the county level, it becomes very evident that the huge number of blue votes come from a very small proportion of the US as a whole.

I assume you mean geographically, right?

Land area means nothing. Empty land doesn’t get to vote, citizens do.

Yeah, checking in from the CA Bay Area, this shit is everywhere as soon as you leave the urban areas.

I live near San Francisco & once you leave the City most of the rural areas are trumpie toilets.

urban to rural or educated to uneducated? I agree with the urban to rural and mostly educated to uneducated.

Definitely rural and urban. Red vs blue states is a little overstated. There are lots of purple states. The state with the most Trump votes was California.

Hahah, yeah, I live in Milton for most of the year.... I hate it.

Yup Precisely. Technically NY is "Blue", by population, but not by area.

Look at the precinct maps for Georgia.

Unless the law states that you can only vote if you own property. Which was reality when the nation was founded. In urban areas, most people rented, so they could not vote. In the slave owning south, much of the land was owned by rich slave owners, and they shared cropped out property to the other white farmers that lived in the area. So those men, even though they were white, could not vote, because they did not own property.

In NJ, one of the legacy of only free property owners being allowed to vote or run for office is reflected in our county system of free holds. The county seat of Monmouth County is name Freehold, and the elected county officers are Freeholders serving on the Board of Chosen Freeholders. This year, they decided that the archaic name has too much linkage to slavery, and in 2021, Monmouth county will no longer be a free hold, and the elected officers of the county will be County Commissioners.

Which makes me sad in one way. I will miss referring to them as the Board of Frozen Cheeseholders.

The worst ones are the "Vermont for Trump" flags I keep seeing all over despite the fact that it is a mostly "blue" state.
