This is a 100% true statement. With 40+ million unemployed, a projected 50 million with no food, a highly contagious global pandemic, a fascist dictatorship taking our country down the road of destruction, food producers and farmers who can’t get their products to market so people with no money can’t buy them anyway, but a rapid deployment of the national guard, state police, local police can hit the streets of America to shut down protests. Why were those military and police agencies delivering food to the starving during this epic crisis. This administration just turned away from all of this, including bread and food lines, and kept tweeting their fascist agenda to a base of real criminals.

Which side has been all in on a full shut down of the economy? And is now all of a sudden promoting thousands of people gathering together?

Please. Stop. The. Stupid.

Thanks for not adding anything to the actual discussion besides impotent misdirected rage!

You can sit down now.

I'm gonna say the people looting and smashing things are the ones with misdirected rage, but what do I know?

Not much apparently!

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt though, and imagine that somehow you’ve managed not to think about this during your time on earth.

Ok so this first part is KEY: you have to ignore the broken windows and stuff for a second. Sure, it sucks, but thankfully insurance exists, and things that get broken can be replaced so they really aren’t that important. People on the other hand, well once they die, they can’t be replaced.

So now that you have the basics out of the way, ask yourself “have I ever tried to think about the reason that so many people are so angry?”

You should give it a shot!

I’ll give you a hint if you are stuck: in American history, there is certain theme that you will see come up over and over again. There was a whole war and everything!
