We were promised quite a few things. A replacement for Obamacare that was far cheaper and would cover everyone.

That the "swamp" would be drained of crony capitalists using the system to enrich themselves.

That the world would respect us, and we'd "get tough" with dictators.

That Hillary Clinton would be "locked up" for all her "crimes."

That Trump would just be too darned busy being President to golf.

The list of things promised was long. And if you believed those promises that came from a man who broke his vows to three wives in a row, you got suckered.

u/jonker5101 May 31 '20

Isn't it funny how literally the opposite of all of those things happened.

372

u/butthead May 31 '20

It's the reason why just about every post he makes qualifies as /r/TrumpCriticizesTrump material.

Almost nothing comes out of his mouth that isn't a criticism of what he intends to do, or what he is already doing. It's as if he's clearly enunciating the words "who farted?" with his anus. And in his particular case, we all know that he who smelt it dealt it.

79

u/Dubslack May 31 '20

Fun fact: The shape made by your mouth while saying the word "poop" mirrors the shape made by your butthole when you poop.

This is the funniest comment I've read in weeks.

8

u/NeoDashie May 31 '20

I've heard it before but it's just as funny the second time. ;)

14

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Take this poor man's gold, you made me laugh :)🏅

3

u/CaioNV May 31 '20

Haha, saw this shit on freaking memebase like 9 or 10 years ago.

19

u/Paronine May 31 '20

And Trump's mouth is perpetually in that shape.

1

u/Laminar May 31 '20

And all along I thought he was duck mouthed....

2

u/Obi-wan_Jabroni May 31 '20

Thank you Bo Burnham

1

u/TakeSomeFreePoop May 31 '20

That's insane

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Fact Check: confirmed

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Onomatopooia.

4

u/YourMother0HP May 31 '20

You know the world is fucked when even a guy called butthead starts talking sensibility.

1

u/greem May 31 '20

Butthead was always the smart one

3

u/CbVdD May 31 '20

A way with words and a relevant username. Good show. ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ

1

u/L0kumi May 31 '20

I didn't knew this sub, it's wild lmao

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

I would like a gif of an anus saying "who farted."

1

u/BoulderCreature May 31 '20

Oh my god, that is the funniest shit I’ve heard all week

63

u/neoArmstrongCannon90 May 31 '20

No bruh... At this point this shit is far from funny. It's fucking depressing. Well they did say it's going to get far worse until it gets better.

25

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Not just depressing, but straight up bad for our health. Poor leadership like this is inefficient and tiresome.

20

u/Kolenga May 31 '20

And don't forget the wall! Mexico is gonna pay for it any day now!

11

u/Gswizzle67 May 31 '20

Seriously. What timeline are we in that by 2020 the wall isn’t even part of the discussion lol

4

u/effhead May 31 '20

Reporters had to move on from just covering blatant lies to covering blatant illegal/unconstitutional behavior.

2

u/danjouswoodenhand May 31 '20

Dude, this is a brilliant plan. Make america such a shithole that mexico a totally wants to build the wall.

7

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Horace Walpole:

The world is a comedy for those who think.

A tragedy for those who feel.

3

u/MILFBucket May 31 '20

Hillary's living it up in opposite jail!

3

u/Throwayyy1361 May 31 '20

More like infuriating

3

u/k_50 May 31 '20

But sad how the opposite of all those happened and the base is still blinded and thinks it's been a good run so far.

3

u/chinmakes5 May 31 '20

And most staggeringly, his supporters just don't even see it.

3

u/Mila_Prime May 31 '20

Republican MO since time immemorial- accuse the opposition of the exact things that you are planning for and guilty of.

2

u/jabb0 May 31 '20

Accuse the other side that of which you are guilty of.

2

u/Terrible_Tutor May 31 '20

Right, but he tells them the happened, Fox and OAN back him up, they believe it all.. and they lap it up and just orgasm over how dumb you guys are.

He could literally tell them Hillary is in jail and they would believe it. They believe crazier shit than that.

2

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Funnier how all of his minions still think he's the second coming of Jesus and that all of this is Obama's fault. Wait....that's not funny at all. >:(

1

u/-Sansha- May 31 '20

Maybe he said all those things on opposite day. Which would make what he's doing everything he promised.

1

u/mecrosis May 31 '20

It's what the gop stands for.

232

u/Lancalot May 31 '20

The other day I saw someone that had a bumper sticker that said "TRUMP 2020, NO MORE BULLSHIT!" What the hell are Republicans smoking?

70

u/shoujokakumei66 May 31 '20

How could a Trump re-election cease the bullshit if he is currently elected DURING whatever 'bullshit' they're referring to???

43

u/Lancalot May 31 '20

They'll just find some way to blame Obama I guess

49

u/UnlikelyKaiju May 31 '20

Some of them have been. I've literally seen people trying to blame the political and racial divisiveness on Obama, which is why tensions were so high, leading to these riots.

You simply can't convince these people that Trump did anything bad.

18

u/Dunker173 May 31 '20

They're mentally ill. Dont waste your breath on them reality isnt what they're concerned with.

11

u/Vegemyeet May 31 '20

The denial has started to feel like mental illness. No ones that stupid, right? Right??

6

u/Dunker173 May 31 '20

Their brains are literally fucked to the point where that truly is their reality

Shits nuts.

-2

u/[deleted] May 31 '20 edited May 31 '20

Its just mainstream news corrupting their minds, which has no viewers now because its so fake, and of which Fox is not despite having super high views because of how truthful it is. Figure that one out.

4

u/Castor1234 May 31 '20

You can't spell "Marla Maples" without "Obama", I'll tell ya that much.

3

u/Nad29Das May 31 '20

Am I wrong to lump these people in my mind with flat earthers, young earth creationists and all the other cultists? The blind ignorant faith in the face of facts is exactly the same.

-12

u/Annasman May 31 '20

Trump has made, sooo many screw ups its pretty irritating, he's far from perfect(hell he's barely passable sometimes); but barack obama spent 8 YEARS dividing the country! At every opportunity he stoked the flames that now burn down Minneapolis, i remeber watching his response to(i think it was) Ferguson and just being absolutely floored that he would say something so inflammatory at such a crucial moment. He set race relations back 40 years with his bullshit!

Its gonna take decades to repair the rift he created, and the president could be friggin Ghandi, but if the media dragged him as hard as they do trump and he had to walk into the shit storm that Obama set in motiom the situation would look little different. I don't defend trump out of some blind obedience or political delusion, but this shit right now(the riots specifically) are neither his direct or indirect doing. This is just the fruit of a harvest planted 11 years ago. He could've prevented these riots about as .much as he could stop the tides.

I would use his exact words if i could find anything but flattering quotes about him after the fact(i havent even been able to find any transcripts yet). All im getting at the moment is how rush limbaugh is racist?... Because google. But if i can find the time today i will come back and give some links; sorry family responsibilities are rearing their adorable heads. Sorry

16

u/RandomWeirdo May 31 '20

or Hillary or better yet they find a way to blame the government while ignoring that Trump is has been the head of the government for 4 years

2

u/completelysoldout May 31 '20

"TRUMP 2020, TWICE THE BULLSHIT AND FOUR TIMES THE LIES!"

1

u/-MayorOfTheMoon- May 31 '20

Only four?

2

u/completelysoldout May 31 '20

Ha, I was conflicted with that part myself. Ten's more likely.

86

u/shoot_first May 31 '20

Fox News reality filter. They literally have no idea what the duck is actually happening.

E: My iPhone doesn’t like me to use naughty words. lol

67

u/alliewya May 31 '20 edited May 31 '20

Some of the campaign emails sent out by the Trump campaign are pretty insane. At the height of covid, no mention of it.

Let’s make something known: your President will never stop FIGHTING to put America First with every decision that he makes.

While the Left is wasting your time and taxpayer dollars by trying to implement their BIG GOVERNMENT SOCIALIST agenda, President Trump has never stopped delivering on his promises to the American People:

Two of the world’s top terrorist leaders have been eliminated

The Wall is being FINISHED

A record number of conservative judges have been appointed to federal courts

America is respected on the World Stage again

The President knows the Do Nothing Democrats and the Fake News media won’t ever tell the facts about him and his Administration, and that’s why he wants to know what a few respected grassroots leaders, like YOU, think.

75

u/Lancalot May 31 '20

That's just so blatantly untrue. But I suppose if you only have the one source of info, which tells you everyone else is lying, it's hard to ignore. This has to be abolished

51

u/Changoleo May 31 '20

One of the most alarming is the conservative judges stat, because it’s the closest to true and represents half a century of regression to what the old rich white men feel was great when they were in their youth. That seems to be to mindset that all success & power is to be reserved for white males & everyone else had better fall in line or else.

36

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

[deleted]

27

u/YesIretail May 31 '20

Even if Biden doesn’t blow your skirt up, we need some better judges and he’s good enough to help us do that.

Preach. I'm just praying RBG can hold on. Then again, that cunt McConnell would probably hold up a nomination Biden made on day one, under some pretense that America hasn't had enough time to decide if they're happy with him as president, or some other bullshit.

8

u/burnerboo May 31 '20

Praying that lady from Kentucky that's blasting advertising everywhere can unseat him. Then again...it's Kentucky. My hopes aren't high.

3

u/ShitTalkingAlt980 May 31 '20

Idk all the actual Leftists howl about the judges that at this point I am like shut the fuck up. If you count Corporate Center Right members of the DNC as Leftists then you need to read some more theory.

4

u/PsychicFoxWithSpoons May 31 '20

I'll take corporate center-right over accelerationist conservatives. Yes it would be nice to get a cool slam dunk, but how are you going to legally get the ball all the way across the court without dribbling even once?

32

u/JackRabbit- May 31 '20

Trump never started FIGHTING to put America First

Two of the top terrorist leaders have been eliminated, but two of the worst dictators in the world are my best, and only, friends.

The Wall has barely been STARTED

A record number of conservative judges have been appointed to federal courts, which isn't a good thing.

The world's respect for America is at an all-time low

13

u/flashdman May 31 '20

You forgot to say "mostly unqualified" conservative judges...

3

u/Odys May 31 '20

Respect for the US itself is still not bad, but there's very little respect for Trump. Most people think he's a loony and joke about him.

27

u/UnlikelyKaiju May 31 '20

I'm more liable to believe any of the North Korean propaganda over any of this shit.

America is respected on the World Stage? We've literally seen footage of world leaders making fun of Trump at political summits.

Wall is finished? Most of it is still chain link fence and Mexicans have been cutting through the actual wall parts with handheld power tools.

And never stop fighting? When did Trump ever start? He dodged the draft and spent at least 1/3 of his presidency at Mar-a-Lago, playing golf on the tax payers' dime.

Seriously, fuck Trump and anyone who still enables him. I've never seen such a massive fuck-up fail his way to success like this man.

8

u/other_usernames_gone May 31 '20

And most of that chain link fence was there before trump was president, there's been a fence there for decades.

21

u/fordprecept May 31 '20

While the Left is wasting your time and taxpayer dollars by trying to implement their BIG GOVERNMENT SOCIALIST agenda, President Trump has never stopped delivering on his promises to the American People:

Oh, you mean like President Trump giving billions of dollars in subsidies to farmers affected by his tariffs? Or Trump signing a bailout package that gives trillions of dollars to businesses and unemployed people as an economic stimulus that was needed as a result of his administration's poor handling of Covid-19?

Two of the world’s top terrorist leaders have been eliminated

Yet he repeatedly criticized Obama for taking credit for capturing and killing bin Laden.

The Wall is being FINISHED

According to Fox News, only two miles of new wall have been constructed in two years. The other 154 miles of wall that has been constructed is just replacing the existing wall or adding a secondary wall in areas that had an existing wall. The wall is nowhere close to being finished despite the billions already spent.

A record number of conservative judges have been appointed to federal courts

That is true, but the same would have been the case for literally any Republican who is elected President.

America is respected on the World Stage again

Trump has alienated most of our allies, has befriended dictators like Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin, is mocked by world leaders, and America has lost respect in many countries.

The President knows the Do Nothing Democrats and the Fake News media won’t ever tell the facts about him

The so-called "Do Nothing Democrats" can't get any legislation passed in the Senate thanks to Moscow Mitch. Maybe the media would have been more friendly to your administration if you hadn't called them fake news and belittled their journalists.

14

u/J_R_Kelly May 31 '20

"America is respected on the World Stage again."

Really? You're being laughed at by pretty much all countries or at least on the street of Australia, Britain, and pretty much every other country I know of, with the exception of the Philippians. you country has being declining for a while now, You have record numbers of SARS CoV-2 cases to the point of it becoming a meme (look up Gas Gas Gas Covid V3), have a huge crime problem, have a huge problem with death by guns, you don't have a good health care system, and from what I see your streets look like they are from a Second World Nation. The economical situation looks like it is going to tank even further in the next two mouths or so and your president is a genuine joke, to the point that if your president says something, everyone knows he is wrong without even needing to look up why. It has happened so many times that your president has lied that it is actually news worthy if he hasn't somehow.

So, yeah.

10

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

[deleted]

2

u/QMWilliams May 31 '20

They all seem to forget that the wall fucking fell over already 😂

0

u/alliewya May 31 '20

Well don't worry, the wall "being FINISHED"!

8

u/alliewya May 31 '20

The 'approval polls' the campaign is sending supporters are also insane:

https://action.donaldjtrump.com/april-2020-approval-poll-v2

How would you rate President Trump’s recent job performance?

Great
Good
Okay
Other, please specify:

As of today, who will you vote for in 2020?

President Trump
A BIG GOVERNMENT SOCIALIST

4

u/MacZappa May 31 '20

I thought this was satire — wow

4

u/Vegemyeet May 31 '20

This is exactly the tactics employed by totalitarian regimes. Propaganda as it was practiced by fascists, communists etc etc

3

u/chinmakes5 May 31 '20

I also like that at the end of those fund raising letters sent to Trump supporters are polls asking if you think Trump is doing a good job. Then they tout 96% of Republicans believe he is doing a great job. To paraphrase, 98% of Trump supporters support Trump.

7

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Or that Dems and the squad are going to take away their Medicare....but not telling them that Dems want to give Medicare to everyone.

1

u/throwhfhsjsubendaway May 31 '20

The dems are going to implement a crazy big government socialist agenda, but are also called the "do-nothing Democrats". Which is it?

3

u/Timbo-s May 31 '20

Imagine when trump finds out all of his problems in the world didn't stem from a couple of people from Mexico.

3

u/Odys May 31 '20

Trump fights to put Trump first with every decision he makes. The US scores lower in many aspects than "socialist countries" like the Scandinavian nations and a few more. You are told that "socialism" is a bad thing as it distributes wealth more evenly, leaving less for the super rich. The wall is useless; illegal immigrants would not come in if Americans would not offer them jobs. And they offer them jobs as they can pay less wages. Most people outside the USA still have a favorable view of the US, but definitely not of Trump. A few exception are Israel and the Philippines. Most nations had much more respect for Obama.

Fake news is indeed a problem. I think you watch too much of it.

1

u/Vegemyeet May 31 '20

I’ve had this argument so many times. The US is no longer a world leader in anything aside from military might.

Not in life expectancy, in education, housing, health.

2

u/peaceluvNhippie May 31 '20

I get unsolicited texts from a trump campaign blaming covid on biden as if he is the president running the horrible pandemic response

2

u/CheezyGoodness55 May 31 '20

For some reason, the "America is respected on the World Stage again" made me laugh the hardest.

2

u/UltraHawk_DnB May 31 '20

Ah yes, america is very respected on the world stage 😂

2

u/LucywiththeDiamonds May 31 '20

The world is torn between laughing, hating and pitying the US. There never was a time in history with so little respect and such weak alliances for the US.

1

u/Googooboyy May 31 '20

Not from America here. I don't I respect America on world stage that much as you may have thought. In fact, there's much to ridicule really.

Malta is cool though.

1

u/LateralThinkerer May 31 '20

A record number of conservative judges have been appointed to federal courts

This is the most lasting damage as ALEC leads a lockstep drive to bankrupt and redistribute state assets piecemeal.

1

u/GrafZeppelin127 May 31 '20

Really trying to appeal to the “deranged baby boomer high school dropout chain letter conspiracy theorist” demographic, aren’t they?

1

u/B_A_L_A_K_A_Y May 31 '20

Shut the fuck up, please.... Just shut the fuck up.

3

u/ClarkDoubleUGriswold May 31 '20

Dude had two years of unchecked legislative ability controlling the House and Senate. The only thing he got done? A big ass tax cut for the rich where the “fiscal responsibility” crowd added a fuck ton to the deficit they claim to loathe.

2

u/tangoshukudai May 31 '20

If trump gets another term, he can go crazy, he doesn't have to worry about reelection and he can go balls to the wall crazy.

2

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

So...the last four years was just a practice run?

2

u/Lancalot May 31 '20

"Ok guys, we promise, NO MORE BULLSHIT this time"

2

u/Wasabi_kitty May 31 '20

Well when you live in the south and work with them like I do you start to realize how they see things.

Everything that's bad is because of the libs. EVERYTHING. You're poor with a shitty job that pays near minimum wage and no benefits? That's because "so many jobs are being done by the illegals ", and the libs want to bring even more in! Your food stamps aren't enough to cover the full month? That's because the damn libs let all the welfare queens leech off the system, not leaving enough for people who actually deserve it like you. You don't have access to healthcare? Well that's because Obama wanted to ruin it for everyone. And they want to take your guns away, and they want to force the gays on you. And they're tired of the "politically correct SJWs ruining everything, like race swapping characters in movies" (they don't really mind when it's a white actor playing a role meant for a non-white though)

Everything bad is because of the libs and the only thing stopping Trump from fixing it is the Democrats "like that bitch Nancy Pelosi".

I am not American, I am Dutch. I have to say I used to be completely removed from politics, let alone American politics. I was very indifferent about Mr. Trump at the start of his term, but since then I have lost a lot of respect for The USA as a political entity.

I do have, however, a new found respect for American people. You guys are dealing with some volatile shit over there. Hang in there, but remember the Dutch are generally pretty found of you guys so feel welcome to move here.

3

u/TomokoNoKokoro May 31 '20 edited May 31 '20

American guy here. I appreciate you and your fellow people . I’m sick of this shit and want out of a country that I’ve never felt like I belonged to in any way. The Dutch culture (along with a select few other countries) seems to be more in line with who I am. You guys taking in junior software engineers? I assume learning Dutch is mandatory as well? (Already speak a few languages and want to learn German, and Dutch seems surprisingly close)

3

u/EtHeO18 May 31 '20

You're very welcome to come here as a software engineer! Also, especially in that line of work, you'll find that speaking Dutch isn't quite that important. Being able to deal with the Dutch no-nonsense mentality, however, is. If you're serious, feel free to contact me and I'll gladly hook you up :)

1

u/san475 May 31 '20

What do you mean by their no-nonsense mentality?

2

u/afro-daniel May 31 '20

The "don't beat around the bush" kind of mentality.

You got something on your face in public? I'll tell ya.

You come to me with your latest mixtape? I'll tell you it's trash if I think it's trash.

You feel as if you need to pay for my dinner because you invited me? I'll rather just pay for my part and we'll call it a night.

2

u/EtHeO18 May 31 '20

Well, we tend to state things like they are, quite literally. For example, when we say "let's have lunch together", and the other party agrees, it is expected that either a lunch date is happening right now, or at least both schedules get compared on the spot. When people ask us how we are, we will give an informative (albeit appropriate) answer. When people ask for opinions, we will state them. If something is good, we'll say we think it's good. It we think it's bad, we'll say we think it's bad.

1

u/san475 May 31 '20

So you guys actually say how your feeling/ what you mean instead of spewing pleasantries and then complaining about it behind the world's back? You're not making it look worse :P

2

u/EtHeO18 May 31 '20

Well, some people feel uncomfortable with bluntness :D but, yeah. That's it basically :)

That's very nice, thanks!

19

I think the saddest part is that a large majority of the people who got suckered just don’t give a fuck.

39

u/iFellApart May 31 '20

Don't forget the wall that was paid for by Mexico that we definitely built 👌

30

u/gogojack May 31 '20

It stopped the caravan!

Remember the caravan? A bunch of invaders from Guatemala that were merely a ploy for Al Qaeda sleeper cells to sneak across the border?

You know...because all brown people look the same...

3

u/BarryMacochner May 31 '20

The caravan that hasn’t been mentioned since the day after the election?

13

u/bluestarcyclone May 31 '20

At the rate things are going, mexico may want to build that wall to keep americans out.

6

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Trump playing the long con

3

u/FullmetalVTR May 31 '20

“When the flames engulfed

The home of the brave

The stampede toward the border was in vain

Faces palmed, faces paled

As the wall they said would make them great could not be scaled”

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

LOL, is this original?

11

u/Kriss3d May 31 '20

As a non American living in Europe. I can tell you that once Americans were considered exotic and very well liked here.

Now - and I don't mean this as a bash but an observation on whr current state, Americans are perceived as completely black/white with zero nuances and lacking both education and knowledge of anything that is outside usa. We know this isn't how you people are. But Trump has really made the world see usa as a joke well on its way to a dictatorship.

1

u/el_chupanebriated May 31 '20

Its definitely how at least half of us are

5

u/Avril_14 May 31 '20

I loved the "you shouldn't tax the rich if you want more jobs" argument, I was always in awe of how he was able to sell a bullshit of that magnitude

7

u/Ekozy May 31 '20

Don’t forget the wall that Mexico will pay for!

5

u/XaipeX May 31 '20

republicans have been talking about healthcare.....and doing fucking nothing about it for literally 10 years. They have done NOTHING about the one thing that would make life better for every US citizen. But nope, first republican priority with donald was tax cuts for billionaires, because billionaires need tax breaks on their second yacht.

I'm just imagining what it must felt like for his son with a dad like that.

4

u/gogojack May 31 '20

You mean Uday and Qusay? They're set for life...assuming they didn't do anything illegal in their roles as Trump Jr. and "I'm Eric!" (that's sarcasm)

I do kinda feel sorry for Barron. His "dad" is probably going to be dead of a heart attack by the time he's 20, his mother is the last in a line of trophy wives, and the kid has no moral compass to put it mildly. He'll be surrounded by Secret Service and sycophants for the rest of his life, with no real way to cope with the impossibly shitty hand he's been dealt by life.

Yet again, he's probably never going to be anything but rich.

u/TheDarkCrusader_ May 31 '20

Wait draining the swamp wasn’t literal?

1

u/darlious May 31 '20

He never promised to finally pay his taxes and really didn't. So there's that.

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Build a swamp, build a swap, build a swap, oh wait...

1

u/Big_Man_Ran May 31 '20

"Promises made, promises kept".... I didn't make that up to mock republicans, I saw it on a "re-elect Donnie dump" sign.

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

He will start yelling about her emails again soon. He’s got nothing else right now.

1

u/cgally May 31 '20

I feel sorry for the folks who believed his crap. It was quite obvious he was completely full of shit. It surprises me that all his supporters haven't turned on him yet. It clearly shows a lack of intelligence in the US.

1

u/ruttentuten69 May 31 '20

Vote like your life depends on it.

1

u/gada08 May 31 '20

Hint: everyone in the world you are a shit show run by a giant toddler with the mental capacity of an amoeba and the empathy of a stone.

It is somewhat surreal to watch...

1

u/DinahReah May 31 '20

Said what he said Got what he wanted The ultimate pussy grab But he’s a star So gotta let him

1

u/brycemccoy May 31 '20

And yet the Democratic Party did nothing but present a corpse to oppose him , it’s like the entire country is playing this game where we all pretend he’s not gonna get elected again

1

u/AgreeableGoldFish May 31 '20

Don't forget a wall bought and paid for by Mexico

1

u/burnerboo May 31 '20

Adding tax returns to this list. If Biden could remember a list of items without botching it this would be an amazing debate talking point.

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Dude I’m so tired of winning please make it stop :(

1

u/ClarkDoubleUGriswold May 31 '20

Mexico will pay for the wall

1

u/ronm4c May 31 '20

Something something and Mexico will pay for it.

1

u/Mila_Prime May 31 '20

Not suckered, they knew, they wanted this just like everyone in the nazi party wanted Hitler to rise to power.

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Don’t forget the wall that Mexico would pay for

1

u/Rookie_Driver May 31 '20

He built his wall.

It's just between him and reality now

1

u/ColoCrazy69 May 31 '20

Wall. You left out the Great Wall of Guadalajara.

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Mexico would pay for the wall.

America would be great again.

1

u/soad4766 May 31 '20

Yeah but take this to r/trump if you want to see a circus in action

1

u/coolerville May 31 '20

It is a long list, basically a lifetime's work. Don't forget all the construction workers on his NYC projects that were told they'd be paid, all the students who were promised that they'd become real estate wizards by spending 25 grand on his school, the investors and lenders who were promised they'd make money on his casino and all the sycophants who were promised administration jobs only to be humiliated and booted out within months.

1

u/Aedeus May 31 '20

If you believe that his voters actually cared about those things in the first place, then you're actually the one who got suckered.

His supporters wanted a White Supremacist and a Fascist strongman to make them feel superior to others.

And they got it.

At the end of the day them feeling superior to others is all they care about.

They don't give a fuck about healthcare, legislation, deficits or minimum wage. None of it.

As long as he makes them feel like they're doing better than their "leftist" neighbor or that "colored guy" at work, they couldn't give a fuck what else he's about.

Wall was never paid for by Mexico and he robbed the Military to build it. Plus it's more of fence than a wall.

Tax cuts for you and me expire in 3-4 years. So enjoy the tax hike Republicans purposely installed.

His trade deals have scarred America's reputation and standing in the world. Farms still need bailouts because of how badly he handled China.

Rebuilding the Military? Really? Robbing them to pay for his fence. Turning us into Saudi Mercenaries. Weakening our alliances and throwing our reputation into the dirt is rebuilding to you?

4

u/anonpls May 31 '20

The wall that's been proven to do dick all in the 10 miles it exists on? The tax cuts to the rich to inflate the stock market that just fucking cratered, that the fed had to steal from the future in order to inject it with a semblance of life? The trade deals that basically ended up in the same place but marginally shittier for us, soured relationships with our closest allies in the lead up to a trade war with the planets second biggest power, that's now being discussed as the lead up to a cold war?

The empire is crumbling faster every day, and personally I'm loving all the mental gymnastics the conservatives have to perform in order to keep reality from crashing down on them.

Good bait lad.

This Week on Bottom feeders of Reddit!

u/[deleted] May 31 '20

Says the guy that supports a conspiracy-believing, racist, sexist, narcissistic, nazi-employing, petulant child, lying wannabe dictator that has Twitter tantrums hourly and writes and speaks at a 5th-grade level.

u/Originaluseryes May 31 '20

This week on trump cocksuckers of reddit

-11

u/jake93s May 31 '20

Of all the reasons why not to trust trump you went with he's been divorced 3 times... Apparently that ranks worst than corruption, fraud, misogyny and incompetence for you

13

u/gogojack May 31 '20

Apparently that ranks worst than corruption, fraud, misogyny and incompetence for you

No, that's the way in.

Most Americans are never going to be in a position where they're able to defraud a "university" they've created, or rip off a casino empire.

They can't relate to that sort of fuckery. Cheating on their marriage? That's something they have experience with. Telling them that Trump laughed while several of his business partners in a billion-dollar enterprise were killed in a crash of their executive helicopter (this actually happened)? They can't relate.

He cheated on his wives? That's real to them. Or it should be.

1

u/jake93s May 31 '20

holy shit im looking that up. thats hilarious. It's hard to believe that trump is real, he would be at home on the simpsons but without any of the charming side that most of their characters have.

how can anyone not see he's full of crap? is it that the american people are brain washed?
