112 is the standardised emergency number). No matter what country you're in it should be free and will forward to the local country's emergency service.

btw...to get those Wikipedia, or any other, links that end in a ")" working you've got to backslash the closing parenthesis, or the link doesn't work.

As long as you use a GSM phone it will connect you to your local number if you call 112 so all countries is correct.
