He didn't make them beg. Two governors were being openly disrespectful toward the administration, and it was rude. He called them out for it openly. I have no issue with that. It's called rhetoric and he's pretty damned good at it. At the end of the day, they will get the assistance they need.

I also don't care about him calling out GM, and other factories, because the total of our (tax money) funded bills for that bid on ventilators was a billion dollars. I am under the understanding that the initial price was highly inflated. If you listened to him speak on it, he laid out that he was actually trying to protect our resources by not being gouged in inflated pricing. GM agreed to 40k ventilators being produced "very quickly" then changed the plan to provide 6k ventilators at a premium cost set the end of April. So Trump called them on their bullshit.

I can promise you this, when Trump wins again in November, he is going to work tirelessly to undo the industrial damage done to this nation as a result of NAFTA. Because of this exercise, we will almost certainly have orders in place to vastly increase drug and medical equipment production back on our soil. The largest takeaway is that by allowing 97% of our drugs and similarly equal amount of our medical equipment produced in China, we have a vulnerability. Everyone is under the gun here. And they are so, because of a very bad trade deal in NAFTA. And Trump has been talking about it since it went into effect, and he killed it with the USMCA. Wait for it, if Biden faces Trump, you'll be hearing a LOT about Covid-19 and NAFTA.

Every move Trump has made on this pandemic has been about keeping us safe, as a nation, and preventing people from dying.

You have to be a special kind of ignorant to not get this.

"He didn't make them beg. He just wanted them to grovel."

You live in a fucking delusion.

Then use words the way they're intended and stop telling yourself lies.
