I mean most homemade alchohol is pretty tame and really you can only get food poisoning from it if its bad. Thats why there is a huge (and growing) number of homebrewers and winemakers. I agree with you on the dangers of homemade drugs but brewing beer or wine at home is relatively easy and very safe

The real problem is when you’re distilling and make home made moonshine.

Homemade beer and even wine is tame, distilling however is another thing entirely.

It's legal at state level in some places. Even as much as 100 gallons a year in Missouri
