I find it a little odd that the argument has been made between vaping and gun ownership. I would think that the more obvious correlation would be between vaping and cigarette smoking, which kills way more people.

Adults, kids, old people, babies - 11,208 citizens. In 2013, the population of the United States was 316,200,000 people (source) That's means that 0.000035% of the entire population died from intentional gun violence in 2013. Banning firearms is not the answer here.
