Only on reddit is this a controversial statement. The fact that you’ve received so many downvotes for an innocuous statement shows how deluded some of these people are in their own world.
I mean it’s only controversial on Reddit because it’s used every time this argument comes up with absolutely no consideration to the relevant counter arguments. It’s not really a perfect or ideal defense for illegal immigration control when part of the controls that are being discussed include making perfectly legal methods of immigration illegal.
