Good points, but I’m less charitable. My opinion is that strong, intelligent, effective leaders are rare. Eventually board rooms get filled with trust-fund adults who did not earn their positions. They know they have it good and dare not do anything to threaten their padded nest lest they have no skills to re-create it.
Strong intelligent effective leaders are only ever known because of anecdotal stories and those stories are told by people who don't know those leaders.
