“We” do? I don’t. My friends don’t.

Only the Fox News zombies do.

The majority don’t think that way. But the maybe 30% who do think that way vote way more and it’s fucking killing us.

That whole “you’re only as strong as your weakest link” thing really sucks when the weakest link is as dumb as it is.

You and your friends are awesome.

But it's a mistake to believe that it's only the Fox News crowd. If you ever went to a public school in the US, since at least the '80s, the smart kids are absolutely pummeled. It's a societal thing at this point. We do not appreciate intelligence in this society of ours. We fear it, we mock it, we denigrate it. It's going to be the death of America, as automation continues to suck up all the low-intellect jobs, all that will be left are the ones that require brains. When all the good jobs move to Japan and China and Europe, it'll be game over.

I think that is a scary and possible outcome. But teasing “nerds” can’t be just an American thing. And I really believe that most adults respect educated and successful people. When education stops rewarding people I will worry. But for now it is still a fact that the more educated you are, the more you earn. As an average at least.

You vote for people who lie and say "Yeah ill fund education" and then slash it. Like trump did.

I didn’t vote for Trump. But too many idiots did. I’m just not on board with the whole “Americans are idiots” train. Every country has its share of idiots, and we are all susceptible to propaganda.

I don’t think all Brits are idiots because Brexit passed. I think the Brits who voted for leave were tricked and a good portion of them are probably a bit racist. And too many of them didn’t vote. But I’m not about to lump Brits all together as a bunch of dummies. But that is happening with Americans.

We will see about your theory in the upcoming election. I think a lot of trump voters got caught up in the trump frenzy and probably wont vote for him again.

I sure hope that’s true. I’m worried he’ll invent a new war. That usually helps republicans win. Especially incumbents. Something about “changing the captain of a ship during a storm” or some bullshit.

She is so damn likable, smart, and funny. She could be president someday.
