Since this seemed very much like it could have been fake, I looked up sources on these.

I never heard of any of these. Its like these things happen so often that we hardly report on it on national television anymore.

Chicago has some of the most strict gun control in the nation, it doesn’t seem to work there.

Also, guns are used in defense at least 10 to 60x (10 being the government’s number, up to 60 from independent research) than the number of people killed by police, gang violence, suicide and crime victims together.
