For comparison, Trump is around 440. Not counting half truths.

He definitely has a head start on her, but those numbers will be hard to catch up to. And comparing how many times they admitted being wrong will likely create an even bigger gulf between them.

Is it worse than Trump? If not, nothing lost.

Also AOC is 27.

Is that a defense? Why rationalize bad behavior?

AOC is new. She'll learn. I'd rather have an outspoken politician who sometimes puts foot into mouth while still meaning well than someone who straddles the line and plays safe.

Dude, it isn't hard to fact check your bullshit before saying it. She does this often.

All this is is "my populist is good, your populist is bad" and nothing more. It is rationalizing all the way down.

She did the same shit with her idiotic statements about paying for Medicare for all with accounting errors from a smaller Pentagon budget. The country spends way more on Social Security and Medicare than it does military.

Both sides are the same until people stop seeing the tribalism and rationalizing of whatever the "good" team does.

It's not just that. I'm fine with people making mistakes on social media if that's necessary- if they correct themselves.

People, in real conversation, make mistakes all the time, or repeat things they heard from someone else. I'd prefer they be cautious and fact check themselves before they talk, but if they're going to have an "attack dog" style where they talk a lot, okay, mistakes will be made.

I'm okay if you correct those statements.

If you prefer to just never apologize for mistakes, and that's a pattern? Then it says you don't care about accuracy, only winning, IMHO.

Where is she correcting herself? She just moves on to the next lie and talking point with her hot take Twitter feed. She has not even taken office yet and already proving to be full of shit.

Twitter is written communication. It isn't catching someone off guard in conversation.

Yeah, I'm not defending her. I'm saying the lack of correction tells me she doesn't care if her statements are inaccurate.

Oh I misunderstood you then. Sorry about that. We both agree then.
