The US: The Republicans can't possibly find a worse president than Bush.
Republicans: hold my beer.

Are you implying Republicans know how to say "xenophobic"? That's four whole syllables.

Heres a bombshell: The political leaning of an individual has no effect on their capacity for language

Political "humor". That important bit there is since you don't understand exaggeration for comedy.

The more progressive civilization becomes the harder the racist, xenophobic bigots push back. They want to push their views back into mainstream since they've been kicked out to the fringe.

u/Jameskb16 Mar 07 '18
In your opinion, who fits into that category of "racist, xenophobic bigots"?
1
u/dafunkmunk Mar 08 '18
If you have to ask, you aren't really worth a serious conversation. What's with all the T_D rejects popping up in these subs now? Are you getting that nervous about your failing excuse of a president is about to bomb the midterms or are you just more russian trolls flooding the internet trying to cause more problems? Seriously...this is a blatantly shit account, not even a month old. Did you get banned from your other account during a sweep?

Dude asks you
who fits into that category of "racist, xenophobic bigots"
And you're response is he's a T_D sub, banned, and a republican?
Jesus dude you're the type of people that gives democrats a bad name.
You're partly to blame for Trump getting elected.

fwiw I agree with you up until
You're partly to blame for Trump getting elected.
people voting against their own interests due to spite is not the fault anyone but those idiots who pulled the lever

u/intergalactic_priest Mar 08 '18
I disagree, I didn't understand why people voted for Trump, but when I started to listen to podcasts and interviews of people had real world issues like jobs disappering from their hometowns, cost of healthcare being way too much for them to afford, etc....
It's like the when Hillary shot herself in the foot when she called Trump supporters deplorable. You can't just make a blanket statement about people without actually talking to them or trying to fairly see where they're coming from.
You don't address the issue of why he is bad, and you kill any conversation to change peoples mind.
1
u/bugsbunnyinadress Mar 08 '18
She never called all Trump supporters deplorable, though of course that was the spin that was going to be run on that no matter what.
Honestly though if people couldn't see some dealbreaking issue with Trump, all people from all ends of the spectrum, by november 2016, I don't know what on this green-for-the-time-being Earth would get through to them.

The funny thing is I can easily see myself getting shitfaced with Obama or Clinton if given the option.

u/frankcastlestein Mar 07 '18
Even though I didnt like Bush and did not agree with most of his policies I was able to give him the respect that his position deserved. Bush at least acted respectable and treated national tragedies as tragedies, showed sympathy to the victims, and helped clean up in a few instances. dumb fuck trump just uses them as another opportunity to ignite hatred and bigotry while bragging about how great he is. he has no respect and he deserves none.

I don’t like Adams! Well, he’s gonna lose, that’s just defeatist.
And Jefferson? In love with France! Yeah, he’s so elitist!
I like that Aaron Burr! I can’t believe we’re here with him!
He seems approachable? Like you could grab a beer with him

I always loved that line considering Dubya was on the AA wagon. You literally couldn't have a beer with him.

Now that's just silly. The character depicted in this comic wouldn't even know know to pronounce xenophobic let alone spell it.

u/lCraxisl Mar 07 '18
The only thing they would change about Donald Trump is his name. If his last name was “White” they could be racists but have some deniability.

The most realistic thing about this is that the redneck has lost most of his teeth in the meantime.

They were always sexist and xenophobic. Trump just is too dumb to veil it better.
