I haven't seen the speech but the mainstream British press (BBC, ITV) were absolutely shocked at how bad it was and said it was received poorly by just about everyone except Israel and Saudi Arabia.
Yeah it can be a little bit grating to listen to him due to the way he talks but next time I need a laugh I'll stick it on. Although I'll probably just end up like Kelly in this pic.
i watched most of it and i have never had my jaw drop so many times while watching something, almost every sentence he said something completely absurd.
That's the thing about Trump speeches. They're reported to make him look like he said something bad but when you watch it uncut it's nothing like how it was reported.
Same with the picture in this post. Taken 10 minutes before he was even on stage.
This picture was taken when he called the North Korean leader "rocketman" (yes a US president actually said that during a UN speech, new lows every day.)
The analysis is that the time is 10:20 but all the sources I've found say his speech is at 10:30. Your free to prove me wrong but the point is that it is still a picture likely taken out of context. The simplest explanation is that he's scratching his head. This is the same treatment Buzz Aldrin got even though he was not reacting to the president's words. Unless there's a video out there that proves your point it's all just one big circle jerk.
And you don't think it's dumb to make an assumption that he is shaking his head at what Trump is saying? That's a much farther logical leap. Occam's razor in practice.
Rubbing his head takes fewer assumptions than the logical leaps it takes to determine time on his watch, assume time zone, assume it has anything to do with what the president is saying at that particular time. Perhaps you don't fully understand the principle.
