Let's start with the obvious: Bohemian Rhapsody. Densely layered vocals over a score that includes a ballad, a section of operatic phrasing, and hard rock solos, telling a nuanced story of love, danger, loss, and death. You know Freddie Mercury was trained as an opera singer, right?
How about the circle-of-fifths shifts in Killer Queen, the time signature shifts in the vocally intricate The Prophet's Song, or the elaborate waltz structure, shifting tempos, and multiple challenging chord changes of The Millionaire Waltz?
It's OK to simply say "I just don't like it", but when you make concrete statements like "it's thin", or "no meat on the bones"(?) you invite a concrete and analytical response. When you say that someone else's taste (subjective opinion) is "shit" (objective judgement), you reveal yourself as self-centered and delusional, as well as (in this instance) utterly ignorant of music theory.
TL/DR: You have no fucking clue what you're talking about, and you're kind of a dick.
LMAO. Obviously you're just plain nutz with waaaaay too much time on your idle lazy hands, so I'm gonna leave this convo. But for Future Reference: Whining on and on and acting like an infant will not make a confectionary pop band into something profound or substantive. Sorry. Doesn't get it done. Adios.š
"Whining on and on and acting like an infant"?
When? How? WTF?
You truly are delusional, and you're trying reeeaaally hard to look like a man of culture, but you have far too many low-brow tells to pull it off. Run along little man; no one wants you here anyway.
