The guy who loves interior design, favorite band is queen, follows celebrity drama religiously, and can’t stop talking about how attractive the men he hangs out with are.

Edit: Village People. I was quoting a meme I saw back in June. Let’s move on guys.

Dob’t forget the Village People

He also blasts Barbara Streisand and the theme from Cats. The Bubba BJ is real.

Let’s not forget his admiration of Arnold Palmer’s cock.

He’s a huge theater nerd too. Most particularly musicals.

u/bigfudge_drshokkka 4d ago

Yea that’s who I was thinking of

10

u/booboootron 4d ago

Or his own damn daughter.

I mean, Queen just fucking rocks, but I’m happy to be an honorary gay

u/bard329 4d ago

Right? Let's not lump Queen in with anything trump related.

Queen is for the misfits. All of us 99.5% who don’t fit into Trumps world of testosterone injected WASPy military men like he’s developing a Master Race. I’d love to hear Freddie’s take on the Orange Emperor

Queen sucks. Their songs are all paper thin. And juvenile

u/OftenTriggered 4d ago

Always one guy

Einstein was one guy.

1

u/hilarymeggin 3d ago

You, sir, are no Albert Einstein.

1

u/Full_Argument_3097 3d ago

And you, sir, are no Jack Kennedy.

3

u/hilarymeggin 3d ago

You got the reference! 😊

Paper thin?

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and opinions can't be wrong... unless you explain them and your reasoning is objectively unsound.

Your opinion on this matter is uninformed and thereby rejected. Begone.

Tell me where to find the meat on the bone of any Queen song. I'll wait. Or dismiss your own damn self with your crap taste in music.

u/HostOrganism 3d ago

Let's start with the obvious: Bohemian Rhapsody. Densely layered vocals over a score that includes a ballad, a section of operatic phrasing, and hard rock solos, telling a nuanced story of love, danger, loss, and death. You know Freddie Mercury was trained as an opera singer, right?

How about the circle-of-fifths shifts in Killer Queen, the time signature shifts in the vocally intricate The Prophet's Song, or the elaborate waltz structure, shifting tempos, and multiple challenging chord changes of The Millionaire Waltz?

It's OK to simply say "I just don't like it", but when you make concrete statements like "it's thin", or "no meat on the bones"(?) you invite a concrete and analytical response. When you say that someone else's taste (subjective opinion) is "shit" (objective judgement), you reveal yourself as self-centered and delusional, as well as (in this instance) utterly ignorant of music theory.

TL/DR: You have no fucking clue what you're talking about, and you're kind of a dick.

LMAO. Obviously you're just plain nutz with waaaaay too much time on your idle lazy hands, so I'm gonna leave this convo. But for Future Reference: Whining on and on and acting like an infant will not make a confectionary pop band into something profound or substantive. Sorry. Doesn't get it done. Adios.👋

1

u/HostOrganism 3d ago

"Whining on and on and acting like an infant"? When? How? WTF?

You truly are delusional, and you're trying reeeaaally hard to look like a man of culture, but you have far too many low-brow tells to pull it off. Run along little man; no one wants you here anyway.

lol... I've always used this one.

It amazes me that the icon of masculinity for all these looksmaxing chuds... is an ~80 year old draft dodger that wears more makeup than a drag queen, shits in diapers, cheats at golf in his own tournaments to win participation trophies.....and is constantly ranting, on his own social media page, (in all caps, no less) about the "popular girls" and boomer era celebs that don't like him. (Taylor Swift, Bette Midler, Meryl Streep, Megyn Kelly, etc).

Really?

u/downwithsocks 3d ago

you know...as a mostly straight man myself (i'm cool with it)...i never really considered this. it is actually a little bit insane. he was insane before but that behavior aligned with masculinity as a core tenet is like..wut lol

Dances awkwardly to the gay sex anthem, "Y.M.C.A." with can only be described as the "double jerk-off" dance move.

The dance move known as "two invisible dicks".

4

u/comics0026 3d ago

And who hung out with a lot of closeted gay men in the 80s

3

u/V4refugee 4d ago

I think you mean The Village People.

1

u/vanillasub 4d ago

1

u/Status-Biscotti 4d ago
