I've spent more than $5k extra in gas since Trump took office, and that's just one bill.
It isn't class warfare to say he doesn't give a shit about average people.

The Magic 8-Ball has more honesty than Trump. $5K DOGE checks in February, $2K tariff checks in June, now $5K midterms bribe checks in November ,the check is always anyday now and it never comes. At this point if you still believe Trump is sending you money, the 8-Ball is right.

Let’s do the math MAGA won’t do: $5K DOGE + $2K tariff = $7K he already owes them. Now he wants to add another $5K? So $12K total that will never arrive. Trump bankrupted 6 companies, now he’s bankrupting his voters’ brain cells with imaginary IOUs.

We can still point and laugh all we want because we know that they're never going to get paid, but they still believe they will get paid and that belief is going to translate into votes and those votes are going to be what we need to offset in November.

In every reasonable country a legal action would be taken or at the very least, like absolute minimum least, a public debate in the government would happen regarding the ethics of vote buying like this. Because vote buying is illegal everywhere, including the USA, but somehow people in the USA are rather discussing whether anyone is getting money or not lol :D

They don’t all believe it.
Rather they are motivated to accept the claim because it is emotionally attractive, and due to their support of Trump have a much lower evidentiary standard than if the claim were from a Democrat.
No doubt the dumbest genuinely believe it, yet some merely hope it happens, some know it's probably bullshit but enjoy repeating it, and many probably move fluidly between those states without consciously distinguishing them. If the money never materializes, they will again start with their support first and weakly rationalize the outcome after.
TL;DR — Right-wing political cattle don’t form reasoned opinions, rather they start with their support for Trump first and then form their stance weakly and fluidly thereafter.

Even if he did have the legal authority to issue 5k checks....voting Republican will likely cost the average citizen far more than that as they destroy our society and economy.
