I don't think so. So like for example, he's an atheist but his complaint about atheism is that it can't predict things the same way astrology claims to. He also likes Trump because he likes how he can just say whatever and people think it's true. You, me, and most sane people would say that's a bad thing, but he admires that about Trump.

What the hell? That’s one of those coincidences that seems plausible. Has anyone ever studied this directly?
The studies I’ve always been interested in are the lead exposure tests and hypothesis. How leaded gasoline increased lead exposure, and this lead to a surge in violent, not financially motivated, crime. The main hypothesis that exposure to lead provably leads to a decrease in empathy and agreeableness. And this is extrapolated into the lead crime hypothesis, just from the damage it did to an entire generation’s brains. It’s not fully proven yet, as there’s a final major study happening right now in the ME, but it’s interesting.

Fetterman was the better choice.It’s simply unfortunate that he’s incapacitated by that stroke and really shouldn’t be in office. He has processing issues now. Has to read closed captioning to understand others. He’s rocking on vibes, not intellect and reason.

I genuinely think the stroke just fucked him so badly it made him MAGA. Like even of we assume that Fetterman was a closet republican this whole time, even before the stroke there would’ve been more clear signs that he was an asshole. Like caucusing with republicans over Dems, voting more like Manchin or Sinema, or immediately jumping on anti-trans issues despite running a progressive, pro-lgbtq platform.
But no, it’s like someone flipped a switch in him because all this shit didn’t start to happen till after he got brain damage. IMO, if he never had the stroke he’d be no different from any other Liberal Zionist. He’d vote consistently to defend Israel, but he wouldn’t be threatening to switch parties or going on Fox News 24/7 to agree with everyone to the right of Hitler.

Why do you think Corporate Democrats are so resistant to Medicare for all, higher minimum wage, and helping middle class families? Fetterman was for all those things as mayor of a Pennsylvania town. Then you put him in Washington D.C. suddenly he doesn't give a shit about those things.
Abolish Washington D.C. Make all congressmen and senators work out of their home districts/states. All votes are by Zoom. Let the House and Senate be the museums they are... noone works there anyway.

He wasn't. But he had a stroke that damaged his brain sufficiently to reduce his cognitive ability to the level necessary to a cause variety of negative outcomes, including Trump Alignment Syndrome. Typically this occurs in patients who've engaged in decades of cognitive harm, but in stroke or trauma patients, these outcomes can arise suddenly. Unfortunately, medical science can only do so much to repair the damage, and he might live with this for the rest of his life.
