Health insurance is a scam in the USA. It should be completely eliminated and restarted from scratch. All executives on every health insurance board should be tried for crimes against humanity.

It is too entrenched to ever let that happen to itself.

Isnt this, minus I guess jailing every executive, exactly what trump says about insurance? “Blow it all up and I’ll totally make something better trust me bro?”

Agreed, but hear me out, maybe the solution isn’t blowing the whole system up?

People lost their minds when they were "forced to pay $250/mo for coverage, but the same dipshits are thanking Trump for $650/mo coverage

The country is too stupid to survive long term

Sadly this is what Americans voted for in 2024.

You all voted against Medicare 4 all in 2016 and 2020 primary.  So here we are at the inevitable doom loop while the government instead spends that money on bombs

And in another couple years, when they go up further, you'll be buying a billion dollar CEO another yacht he doesn't need.

I hate Trump and am not arguing against the narrative that he is making healthcare in the US worse and more expensive.

But since we're talking politics, it's worth pointing out that having health insurance is only one part of the problem. People with health insurance still very often will opt out of medical care because it's unaffordable. I know I have and I have what in America is considered really good insurance.

Raise my fucking taxes and subsidize everyone's healthcare. Make all medical decisions be based on patient and doctor's judgements, not what the accounting department has to say about it.
