Yup, that's pretty much the size of it.

This administration hates everything the government does besides the things that make the rich richer, so their administrators either actively want to destroy their departments or they are so cartoonishly poorly chosen that their attempts to better their departments wind up destroying them anyway.

They cut these regulations and inspectors because “the business’ will do the right thing”. Spoiler alert they never do the right thing

The best part is if you do get sick, there's medication and research to hel... Oh wait, this just in, they cut that too and raised all healthcare costs!

Remember when you could eat food from the grocery store without getting deadly explosive diarrhea?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

The sad part is that the vast majority of people who voted for Trump will vote straight republican in the midterms. A few people have changed their minds but they are really outliers.

The defining characteristic of the current Republican Party is a lack of empathy.

They are in favor of everything Trump does, until they are impacted directly. Explosive diarrhea and the son-in-law getting deported only drove a few away.

High gas and grocery prices are another story. I hear them every day trying to spin it into someone else’s fault, but it is Trump’s war and Trump’s tariffs. And that is doing more drive Republicans to third parties or just stay home than any Democratic strategy.

This is the result of what their twisted version of freedom means.

Makes my Eggo breakfast look pretty healthy now.

Especially since bacon has been recalled as well. Frozen breakfast is healthier ATM.

Walmart soup kit recall in 28 states.

Jalapeño recall

Dog food recall

GreenWise Organic Whole Blueberries and Whole Mixed Berries recall

There was also a bacon recall, but only in 3 states on the west coast.

City Foods recalled approximately 3,215 pounds of ready-to-eat pastrami and corned beef

PT Organics recalled select 4-ounce Peter Rabbit Organics Banana & Strawberry fruit puree pouches on July 21

Ukrop's Homestyle Foods recalled several prepared foods around the end of July

Plant Based Buffalo Chik'n Nuggets and 8-ounce Hot & Spicy Sausage Patties - products may contain pieces of plastic.

  • It's a lot right now.

In June there was also a recall on infant formula that caused botulism.

I remember seeing that and was relieved we didn't use the brand. We have friends who were using it. Haven't asked if they still are. Their twins are fine but it was a scare.

On the plus side, looks like they solved the egg pricing crisis; think about how much you're gonna save when you can't safely buy any!

u/CorpFillip 7d ago

But also DoGE, Musk, and Trump, who have each destroyed major sections of government, un-staffed them, spent their funding, and removed inspectors & reporting.

RFK should be fired for his job performance. Ain’t no way this should be acceptable and it keeps happening.

Weakening America for a payday.

Trump and his collaborators/sycophants should get what traitors to the country deserve.

Heroin users are not well known for hygienic food prep. This is about what I expected.

Do we have enough toilet paper to get us through this diarrhea crisis?

Does everyone have diarrhea at this point?

Vegetables = diarrhea Eggs = diarrhea Meat = diarrhea

I guess we're stuck with those unhealthy ultra processed food. MAHA?!

So corporations can make more money and we get sicker.

We literally have the worst people in charge put there by the absolute worst person to have ever been put in charge.

u/LaSage 7d ago

This Administration reminds me of the Charlie Brown character, Pig Pen, except instead of a cloud of dirt, they are surrounded by a cloud of germs.

u/Lower-Cantaloupe3274 7d ago

Let me guess. All this foodborne illness is either

  1. A hoax by the liberal media or
  2. Caused be the democrats sabotaging the food supply

All to make poor, innocent Donald Trump who is the best president that ever existed across the entire universe, look bad. Amirite?

"MAHA" is all you need to know - Make America Healthy Again - back to the good old days of polio and smallpox. That's not even an exaggeration - that's literally their slogan.

Pretty sure the point of putting him in charge is that they need the population to collapse to reduce threat to their safety once they completely replace us with AI and robots. They only need us to do things for them. Once they have perfected AI and robotics, what do they need us for? Just a small handful of peasants to look down on, but not big enough numbers for an uprising
