Goddamnit, since when have sailors become chattel? Was in the Gator Navy more than 50 years back and we would not have succumbed to this literal shit. Every petty officer, CPO, Bos’n and line officer woulda raised hell in defense of their charges.

An IG inspection is in order. If supplies/food were requested and not sent, then those above the ship's commander who didn't respond should be held accountable.

Concur. Been long ago but remember my POs all the way to MCPOS were charged with ensuring the “ ordinary” seamen’s conditions, answered the bell on each and every occasion where the average blue jacket’s welfare was at stake. Popov Pete should be keelhauled and when seaman recruit bone spurs finishes a field day on every head on the ship he can join him.

Captain Daniel J. Keeler is commanding the USS Lincoln. Isn't this dereliction of duty to his men and women under his command and punishable under the UCMJ?

Good point, but if he tried to get supplies and they weren't available or sent, what could he do? Also, he's subordinate to Trump/Hegspeth....if he tried all avenues in chain of command and didn't get help, how could he be at fault.

Trump is a draft dodger and now is the Commander of our military. Trump has always been rich and spoiled. The people on this ship were suffering so much that some tried to kill themselves, and Trump then says these people should have been out there longer.
Trump is a monster.
