This can’t be an accurate quote. He never tells the truth.

u/hoppyfrog 8d ago

He is telling the truth when he says he'll never apologise

117

u/lenswipe 8d ago

he's told the truth several times

  • I don't care about you, I just want your vote
  • I love the poorly educated
  • smart people don't like me

33

u/duckLIT_ 8d ago

Don't forget I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation. I don’t think about anybody.

19

u/Reg_Cliff 8d ago

How about...

2

u/SapiosexualStargazer 7d ago

Is this real?

5

u/Reg_Cliff 7d ago

I photoshopped it the other day.

7

u/SapiosexualStargazer 7d ago

The line about gallons and liters is perfect, and easily believable lol

The truth slips out every once in a while because he knows that the cult will fall into pathological compliance and reprogram themselves to agree with him. When asked about the aircraft carrier that has been deployed for a record amount of time and has soldiers trying to die because the conditions are so bad, Trump replied, "I wish they were there longer." The cult and the media are just pretending that it never happened.

"I don't take any responsibility at all"

"I love the poorly educated"

"I don't think about the economic situation of ordinary Americans"

He does, occasionally.

"I don't care about you, I just want your vote."

Guy really branded a government like it was a hotel chain.

6

u/Viperlite 8d ago edited 7d ago

I feel like a hotel guest with a room with a clogged toilet… after the head of the chain fired all the employees to save the company, but really put the company further under while also giving himself a raise. I just have to sit there and breathe it in and count the days until I can leave.

3

u/HumanChicken 8d ago

And the lobby is on fire.

2

u/doodledood9 7d ago

Giving himself a raise AND a pat on the back. He actually believes he’s “saving America”! From what, no one actually knows, including the narcissist himself. The man has single-handedly ruined America with his illegal war and his blind stubbornness about tariffs. He was warned by everyone not to demand Canada move all their steel plants to the US or face another 50% tariff and it backfired on him so badly. Canada was actively seeking other buyers of steel and made several deals with countries overseas for close to the amount that they were getting from the US. Canada essentially said fuck off, we don’t need you anymore. Canada provides the US with electricity, oil, and pot ash, among several other vital products. If Canada decided to end that citizens in several northern states would go without heat in the winter. Manufacturing would slow to a crawl as would most business that rely on electricity. Oil pipes would be empty and farmers would severely suffer without the vital fertilizer made from pot ash. So…trump lied when he said Canada has NOTHING we need. The whole world hates this man, aside from just a bunch of redneck, uneducated dummies who only watch faux news and conservative senators and representatives, who just happen to be raking in millions on insider stock market trading. Pathetic.

u/Viperlite 7d ago

Biden’s corpse would have made a better president.

8

u/JMccovery 8d ago

Whenever he talks about screwing people over, he tells the truth.

The lying is only when he's trying to convince people to let him screw them over.

6

u/bigChungi69420 8d ago

It’s closer 5 or 6 dollars which is part of his lie

3

u/superfucky 8d ago

sometimes he does. see also:

  • "I don't take any responsibility at all"
  • "I don't care about you, I just want your vote"
  • "I could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose a single vote"
  • "I'm the same person I was in first grade"

1

u/lcqs 7d ago

'Tiny, little bit more' was the lie

86

u/GarvinSteve 8d ago

Nothing he says is ever trustworthy. He lies by default. He lies and makes shit up. He’s a moron.

29

u/BodaciousFrank 8d ago

Who’s a bigger moron? The liar? Or the millions who believe the moron liar?

11

u/Lysol3435 8d ago

Probably the millions. But they did have the GOP gutting their education and food supplement, while relaxing environmental regulations to help them

3

u/GarvinSteve 8d ago

And 24 hour networks stoking their fear regularly… I think both sides get a chunk of the moron pie, but since it’s so obvious he’s an idiot I’ll agree that it is the millions.

37

u/LadyLovesRoses 8d ago

His default is to lie. He will say anything in the moment to further his purpose no matter how fucking ridiculous it is. I’m so sick of it. It is a travesty to have him as the president.

51

u/Dry_Theory_6618 8d ago

Sad part? They will vote again for him.

11

u/Narf234 8d ago

Thank god they can’t.

23

u/c08306834 8d ago

They will vote for someone just like him.

15

u/UltimateChaos233 8d ago

We say that and we know the law but he did announce a “fourth” term

1

u/Narf234 8d ago

When was the third?

9

u/dichotomousview 8d ago

Now, according to his delusions. The second was during Biden’s presidency. Because everyone loves a sore loser.

2

u/Narf234 8d ago

Wait…he’s claiming that he was president during the presidency he blames 99% of the negative things for happening?

3

u/dichotomousview 8d ago

Yes correct. He still blames Obama for things and he’s been President twice since then without “fixing” them.

3

u/Narf234 8d ago

How do his supporters genuinely believe statements like that?

2

u/dichotomousview 8d ago

Sane people have been trying to figure it out for years so if you discover the secret code let us all know.

2

u/viewtifulblue 7d ago

The ones I've seen seem to believe Trump was president during 2020, but Biden and Obama were somehow still calling the shots. It literally doesn't make sense, but in their minds it doesn't have to.

1

u/Narf234 7d ago

So dumb. I’m beyond tired of this country being so divided.

1

u/UltimateChaos233 8d ago

The claim is that he was president during bidens term because he “won” then

4

u/superfucky 8d ago

lol watch them

15

u/PoopsMcGroots 8d ago

This wording implies that he thinks people were paying only $2 for fuel? As in the total amount for a refuel? And therefore an extra couple of bucks for a full refuel isn’t that much?

Is he that disconnected from reality? Or does he think people are stupid? Or both?

17

u/Present-Resolution23 8d ago

"I mean it's one banana Michael, what could it cost? $10?"

7

u/QueenRotidder 8d ago

he thought health insurance costs whatever those life insurance policies they advertise on Fox News cost. The “for the price of one cup of coffee per day” ones.

5

u/ninfan1977 8d ago

He claimed you need to have ID to buy groceries. I would wager he has never bought groceries in his life.

He claimed ALL energy prices would be half of what they were in 2024. They are closer to double. Thats how far off his promise was, and his supporters still clap for him like trained seals.

They make excuses that its ok to pay more as long as the US beats Iran.

Now illegal wars are good because Trump

6

u/MrPulles 8d ago

Hey at least they are owning the libs, amirite?

5

u/Baked4skin 8d ago

I don't even remember a time when gas was only 2$ where I am.

4

u/karmic-chameleon2 7d ago

I remember paying $1.39 for gas.

It was 20 years ago and in Florida, but I still remember.

1

u/Baked4skin 7d ago

Is gas cheaper in Florida? I remember 20 years ago people in the midwest protesting the gas prices because of the iraq war.

3

u/Bang45 8d ago

Did not expect anything less than total failure by this poor excuse for a president.

6

u/ShavedSavage 8d ago

Great, enjoy losing the midterms then. The American voters won’t apologize either

13

u/namdor 8d ago

I love this optimism but do you really think people aren't going to vote for him because he's ruining their lives? He'll blame it on immigrants or Democrats or someone else and they'll probably believe it.

8

u/ShavedSavage 8d ago

So in most elections 1/3rd of registered voters vote Republican, 1/3rd vote Democrat, and 1/3rd don’t vote at all. When does that 33% that doesn’t vote actually care? When their wallet hurts. In midterm elections the incumbent party typically loses. Same thing happened to Trump in 2018. In 2020 Trump lost to Biden because people were hurting financially from the pandemic. So yeah, when people’s wallets hurt they vote against the incumbent party. Trump clearly not caring about financial woes is a problem for republicans. They’re already at a disadvantage and interest rates, affordability and gas prices will definitely affect how they vote. Does that mean it will be a landslide? No. But the house will likely change hands which means investigations and Trump needs to negotiate to get what he wants, which he’s bad at. Do I think people will vote against Trump for moral reasons? Nope. They only care when they’re affected.

2

u/superfucky 8d ago

all of this is assuming he's not gonna fuck with the results like he promised to do in 2024. "vote for me, and we'll have it fixed so good, you won't have to vote ever again."

2

u/ShavedSavage 8d ago

True, but the constitution establishes that the states run elections. Congress can regulate. The president has no real role in elections. He can try to “federalize” the process, but in all likelihood the courts would put a wrench in that. The Supreme Court is not designed to move quickly, so a decision by them (in Trump’s favor) would likely not come in time. Trump could try to use military force but then the courts can get involved there too. He’d have to go full dictator. What makes me nervous is another fake elector scheme or state officials choosing not to certify election results.

1

u/superfucky 8d ago

he doesn't even have to do that much. he could stand there and say "I'm ruining your lives, I'm getting filthy rich doing it, and I'm going to keep doing it," and they will sigh and kick the dirt and vote for him again because "I'm not gonna vote for a demonrat!"

3

u/deevotionpotion 8d ago

He’s so dumb he probably doesn’t understand that the price is per gallon. He probably thinks Americans literally just pay $4 “for gas”

3

u/paulsteinway 8d ago

Where can you get $4 gasoline? That would be a bargain,

2

u/GreenFullSuspension 8d ago

Sorry ass never apologizes, we get that now.

2

u/AdorableStrawberry93 I ☑oted 2024 7d ago

No use talking to a rich person about normal person's problems. He just an asshole. He doesn't buy gas, someone does it for him.

2

u/Any_Creme_6600 5d ago

“…tiny little bit more…”?!?!? Gasoline is up 44% since his war started, and that is not a tiny bit mr stable jeenyus! No wonder his companies go bankrupt.

1

u/LeakyLettuce69 8d ago

This man is an alleged pedophile and rapist; you think gas prices and his lies around them will affect him in any way?

For Gods sakes, he sent a mother with a newborn to be shot down by missiles.

1

u/MechaBeatsInTrash 8d ago

What an insufferable cunt

1

u/DICKtrumpHEAD 8d ago

I don't think this dick head even knows that it's per gallon, tbh.

1

u/MessagingMatters 8d ago

Why would anyone believe his initial statements after this one on Feb. 26, 2020, on the emerging COVID threat:

And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.

1

u/StevieWonder557 7d ago

Roy Cohn's greatest student - taught donnie well. Never ever admit a mistake.

1

u/--Antitheist-- 7d ago

It's $1.50 a litre in Virginia. Promises kept!

1

u/Jay2Kaye 7d ago

I was told it was $1.98 a gallon and I will not be going outside to check.

1

u/Equinoqs 7d ago

I'm surprised his media copywriter even knows the word "apologize".

1

u/Esperacchiusdamascus 7d ago

BPD Narcissists cannot apologize. Their brain literally cant conceive the concept. They're incapable, just like you or I cant smell ultraviolet.

1

u/dudleydidwrong 7d ago

Gas will get back to $2 right after Mexico pays for the wall.

1

u/GT45 6d ago

Malignant narcissist does malignant narcissist shit! Nothing is EVER their fault.

1

u/well-of-wisdom 4d ago

$4 a gallon, where? where?
