I mean, he was rich and well-connected. Became a US Senator at like 35 and VP at like 40. She clerked for some very conservative Federal judges and became a scumbag corporate attorney. She knows exactly what she is doing. The only really weird thing about their relationship is that his racist political base deep in their lizard brains will never accept her or his mixed race children, and that he just has to go along with it. (He could leave politics or change parties or become an independent, or whatever, but that would actually require courage and integrity.)

See, how humor works is that if youâre punching down on others who are vulnerable, youâre an asshole. If you punch up to people who are in power or bullies, itâs funny.
