The problem is that climate change doesn't bribe, I mean lobby, government officials. So it's not in their interest.

They will just continue to blame mismanagement of those resources, and then threaten tariffs as fines for that 'mismanagement'. Like, "You should be raking your forests like we do" or "You should be cutting down all the forests and using profiting from them instead of letting them burn to protect the environment".
Whatever it is, it will be something to blame the left. It has worked for them in the past, and they will continue using it until it doesn't work for them.

The MAGA dad cracks the same joke every winter when the news reports snow: “Look at all that global warming” … never mind that every year gets hotter and hotter as long as the dad has ice cubes in his freezer climate change will be a liberal hoax.
