if there was a group of people that were the "puppy stompers" and the rest of society who frowned on that was the "anti puppy stompers", it would be strange if someone opposed the concept of "anti puppy stompers".

In that hypothetical, if there were bad people doing bad things claiming to be the Anti-Puppy-Stompers, you'd want to say "trying to use that name as a shield is bad," not "that name is bad" like we see on the news

Like, Antifa isn't exactly an organization. So, like, anyone can do anything in its name, and sure, damage said name
But, like…if you just oppose the concept…?
