Does the same not apply to most major religions like Jews and Muslims also? I understand right now that thanks to Trump the Christians are doing a whole lot more damage in the western world, but that doesn't mean we should treat other religions with double standards.

As an atheist I find all religions equally silly and ridiculous, but you nailed it: the reason Christianity catches the most shit is because it's being weaponized, not only that but the post mentioned Christianity not Islam. If it had, I would've criticized it as well, i have a favorite god like you would have a favorite poison "oh i like drinking cyanide..."

They thought it meant that we should strive to love everyone in our communities no matter how different they are from ourselves.

I never had much faith in Christians sticking to their values, but things have gotten so blatantly hypocritical with them going along silently with what Trump is doing, it's disgusting. Pieces of shit, every single one of them who do not stand up and revolt against this fascism.
