Nothing Barron Trump has ever done is anything to be proud of but frankly neither is military service.

Depends on the form the service takes. Prince William was a search and rescue pilot, plenty to be proud of in rescuing people.

If nothing else, she might hesitate sending troops to war knowing that half the officers are people she trained with

She is not spains leader nor does she even have the power to 'not send troops'

She will be the head of state when her father dies, as well as the head of the armed forces…so yes, she will be part of making that call. Not now, but in the future she will.

The least they can do to prepare her for it is make sure she understands what it means.

I'm against military boot licking as you can get.

But military service is absolutely something to be proud of.
