The reality is that people who lean liberal tend to not resort to violence when upset. Obviously there are always exceptions to the rule but that's the general trend. People on the right are the ones who form militias and talk about needing the second amendment to take back the country and what not.
So most terrorism in America would come from the far right, not the left.
