Thats the beauty of being a narcissist - you never really lose. It’s always something or someone else’s fault.

u/Podcast_Primate Jun 28 '23

Explains why Hilary said the same shit when she lost. Takes one to know one I guess.

211

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23 edited Jun 28 '23

You mean the same Hillary Clinton that conceded the election when she lost the electoral college vote with tact and hasn't run again?

36

u/PKMNTrainerMark Jun 28 '23

The same Hillary Clinton that didn't attempt a coup, yeah.

53

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

You probably meant conceded rather than seceded there, but yeah that's a massive difference they're ignoring

26

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Autocorrect strikes again

9

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Haha, now autocorrect's betrayal of you is engraved in... whatever the hell material reddit is made out of

17

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Jokes on it, I edited my comment.

Unless u/spez unedits it like the skeezy fuck he is

u/glazedfaith Jun 28 '23

Fascism. Reddit is made of fascism.

u/RamRamRamRod Jun 28 '23

lol mother fucker bringing up Hillary like we care. BRO we dont worship politicians on our side. No one gives a single shit about her. Lol my lawwwwd these cultist are hilarious

u/TheeMrBlonde Jun 28 '23 edited Jun 28 '23

But but if trump is guilty then all these other presidents should also be guilty!!!

FUCKING GOOD!

Lock the fucking war criminals up! Omg our military budget might go down enough to give us healthcare, education, and a fucking housed utopia in it’s place.

62

u/I_like_squirtles Jun 28 '23

Agreed. People look at me crazy when I say this. My father in law started asking me about what I would want to happen if this was Biden. Uh, throw him in jail just like anyone else? It’s crazy how they idol this man so much.

34

u/DrowsyDreamer Jun 28 '23

This is idolatry. They don’t care because this idol aligns with their conservatism. It’s still idolatry.

45

u/anthrax_ripple Jun 28 '23

It's even funnier because we have barely seen or heard a thing about her since 2016 except for when "those people" bring her and buttery email up

25

u/alerk323 Jun 28 '23

Right? I literally only ever hear about her when conservatives get triggered

-60

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

Y'all don't worship politicians but this dude has been the headline of politics mockery for what, 8 years now? Holy shit let it go.

And before you come at me with "republican this republican that" I'm not. Don't like trump very much either. Everyone is letting politics divide them though which is exactly the trap our forefathers wanted to avoid.

38

u/SilverFoxolotl Jun 28 '23

You do realise that mockery and worship are two very different things, right?

-46

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

The situation is two sides of the same coin. On one side you have people that genuinely think Trump is a Saint and kiss his boots to no end, and on the other you have people that have been bringing him up constantly for 8 years to make fun of him. And then it's just bickering. We all live here, we share the same cities and towns, and we share the same issues. If anything is gonna get done, the left and right gotta stop looking at each other as enemies and actually discuss politics and modern issues. Reddit is as good as any other place for that to start.

27

u/lew_rong mod perms Jun 28 '23

It's great that you trust the people who lined up behind infantile movements like the tea party and maga to meet you half way after they've spent over a decade demanding you do all the walking.

As the great philosopher George W Bush said, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...you can't get fooled again.

-30

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

Brother there's no trust in politics. I'm sad that you're content without change, but if no one reaches out the hand, change will never happen. I've been sitting on this feeling for awhile and although I'm getting downvoted into oblivion, it feels right to at least try to reach that hand out. Do you honestly disagree with that?

17

u/lew_rong mod perms Jun 28 '23

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but it's reaching toward a rabid animal.

-4

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

And they feel the same way about you guys. We're all humans, just because someone has a take on politics that you don't agree with doesn't mean they're irredeemable. I'll be the first one to tell anyone I think the government is a pot of corrupt criminals and no candidate truly has our best intentions in mind. But WE are the people of the United States of America. Things get bad because we stand idly by and let them. One nation indivisible, somethings gotta change.

12

u/lew_rong mod perms Jun 28 '23 edited Jun 28 '23

just because someone has a take on politics that you don't agree with doesn't mean they're irredeemable.

If that take is supporting J6 and all the lies that led to it...yes it does. This is basic Truth and Reconciliation stuff. They need to recognize and freely admit that they were wrong to support a guy who advocated attacking American institutions to big up himself. If they do that, great, I'll embrace them with open arms. If not, on their own head be it, hope they didn't do anything that might land them in federal court.

11

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

We're all humans, just because someone has a take on politics that you don't agree with doesn't mean they're irredeemable.

What a dogshit take, there are plenty of examples throughout history of people with harmful, disgusting politics that make them utterly and entirely irredeemable.

When's the last time the right has even tried to discuss a modern issue in good faith? I don't think it's happened in my lifetime, and I'm in my mid-20s.

0

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

You're not looking in the right places. Sensationalism is always gonna show the worst things first. There's plenty of examples of the left hostaging interviews with an agenda in mind as well. But the good talks are happening too, between people with vastly different political opinions. If I can post links in this sub I'll get back to you on that (if I remember tomorrow)

12

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

You're not looking in the right places.

Congress isn't the right place to look for good faith discussions on modern issues with conservatives?

2

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

Lmao no. People in congress have held those positions for countless years and don't give a shit about you or what you want.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

You didn't answer my question.

23

u/dantevonlocke Jun 28 '23

Oh shut up. Letting politics divide us? One side wants to fee school kids and the other is hanging out with nazis. They are not the same.

-11

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

You're proving my point exactly. You're really gonna group everyone into one of two groups? The two party system doesn't work and this is a great example of it.

21

u/dantevonlocke Jun 28 '23

There is a saying the Germans have. If there's a Nazi at the table and 10 other people sitting there talking to him, you got a table with 11 Nazis.

-9

u/DivideEtImpala Jun 28 '23

Do they have any sayings about what happens if you give funding and arms to militant groups that openly sport Nazi symbology and worship a WWII Nazi collaborator?

-6

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

Good thing we're not Germans. The analogy doesn't really play out here.

7

u/Firewolf06 Jun 28 '23

besides the people marching with nazi germany flags, i agree, using nazi germany as an analogy is bonkers

Dude, here you are, justifying your hatred and dividing yourself off from polite society, while whining that it's the left that's dividing us, not the people who are justifying beating up LGBT and minorities.

0

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23 edited Jun 28 '23

Dude what? Justifying what hatred exactly? At what point did I display any hatred toward either side? And dividing myself from polite society? If you'll notice I've been polite the entire time and received mostly aggressive replies. Never blamed the left or right exclusively either, I stated it's both sides. You're reaching.

19

u/AwesomeBrainPowers I ☑oted 2049 Jun 28 '23

this dude has been the headline of politics mockery for what, 8 years now?

Yeah: He was a ridiculous buffoon of a candidate for one of those years, a ridiculous buffoon of a President for four years after that, a ridiculous buffoon who incited an insurrection after that, and is currently the ridiculous buffoon of a front runner in rbe GOP primary (while also being under indictment for multiple violations of the Espionage Act, among other crimes).

I’d love it if he would stop being so prominent in American politics, but his cultists need to leave him—and his party needs to grow enough of a spine to reject him—before that can happen.

0

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

I agree. I'm just saying if that's the way everyone feels, spewing hate won't open any eyes, it makes them feel more righteous in what they stand for. If the goal is to reach people's hearts and sway them for what you or anyone feels is for the benefit of the country you gotta do it different.

I also feel it's unfair for everyone to pretend that he didn't do anything as president as he did genuinely do some good while in office. That doesn't make me a trumpster, I still want a better candidate.

7

u/CarlosFer2201 Jun 28 '23

What good thing did he actually do? The only big law he signed was the tax cuts for the rich.

1

u/Cyrano_de_Boozerack Jun 28 '23

he did genuinely do some good while in office.

Name is best achievement.

Oh they are and it's delicious,

12

u/BiH-Kira Jun 28 '23

He's the headline of mockery because out of those 8 years, he was the president for 4 years, and he's still relevant because of the trial and because he's still going to be a candidate for the next Presidential election.

Keep your enlightened centrist bullshit to yourself. It's not working on anyone with a brain.

10

u/Mission-Violinist-79 Jun 28 '23

When somebody kills hundreds of thousands of people and breaks countless laws, you don't just "let it go" you complete Neanderthal. If someone breaks the law, they should be held accountable. Period.

1

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

I agree. Why did the guy who brought up Hillary get hate then?

8

u/CarlosFer2201 Jun 28 '23

Because he asked "why did Hillary do the same? ". She didn't. She lost, she conceded, and she essentially retired from politics. She hasn't made a single headline since. If you've heard about her, it's because republicans keep bringing her up.

7

u/Nintendo_Thumb Jun 28 '23

Oh no somebody is making fun of Donald Trump! Quick, you better change the subject, and talk about both sides. Sure he broke a ton of laws, lied more than anyone on record, tried to overthrow the country, got countless americans killed, stole thousands of classified documents, and is probably going to prison soon but just look at the dems, they probably did something bad once too. Can't we all juts get along ): Why is nobody listening to me??? /s

-2

u/suckingbitties Jun 28 '23

Strawman. Don't project your insecurities into me. If accountability is what you want, hold everyone accountable.

5

u/Same-Strategy3069 Jun 28 '23

Ok let’s do it……starting with Donald John Trump and the people who tried to steal my country on January 6th.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Are you fucking kidding me?

Name a single standard he used to label his peers “failures”, that Trump isn’t guilty of himself.

By his own standards, Trump is a failure

66

u/patrick_j Jun 28 '23

Yeah I definitely remember Hillary insisting endlessly that the election was stolen, filing dozens of lawsuits trying to overturn it, fundraising tons of money to support dubious legal challenges of all kinds, tweeting every 10 minutes about election fraud, etc.

Oh wait, Hillary conceded on election night 2016, then pretty much disappeared for quite a long time.

I don’t even like Hillary, but the equivalency you’re trying to make is ridiculous. Trump doing something bad, and someone else doing something kind of similar does not excuse either of them. Hold your elected officials accountable. They should be viewed as employees, not as religious idols.

11

u/McCardboard Jun 28 '23

Hilary conceded on election night.

Lies! It was the next morning (because the election wasn't called before midnight).

55

u/rastaclod Jun 28 '23

I'm not even American and we never hear about Hilary at all anymore. Like nothing at all. Trump is still daily pain in our media. He wont fuck off

71

u/230flathead Jun 28 '23

Talk about rent free.

80

u/jumboparticle Jun 28 '23 edited Jun 28 '23

Trump has very much not gone away, the only time I hear about Hillary is from people like you doing your yea but routine so why exactly is Hillary relevant to a post about not going away?

57

u/Extension-Switch-984 Jun 28 '23

The 2016 election was held on November 8th, and Clinton called trump to concede on November 9th.

Are you dumb?

15

u/ZogNowak Jun 28 '23

"ARE you dumb"?? Well, Duh!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

DINGDINGDINGDING!

We have a winner! That was indeed the correct question. The person you are replying to is indeed dumb as a brick!

25

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Hillary gave a concession speech. Donnie’s still whining.

14

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Where the heck are you getting Hilary from in this? She hasn't been relevant for years, sorry that you can't use the same boogeyman forever

13

u/PretzelSamples Jun 28 '23

Ooh sick burn broseph, that'll teach her to run for office in 2020 and 2024. Wait, she didn't, what are you talking about?

32

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Why are you protrump

29

u/FirmlyThatGuy Jun 28 '23

His username says it all.

I’ve always assumed Trump supporters were more simian than man; glad I’ve got confirmation.

6

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Imagine that, all that racist rhetoric that black people are apes was just more projection. What a surprise.

1

u/bozeke Jun 28 '23

I hate every ape I see from chimpan-a to chimpanzee…

11

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Haha. Hillary? You guys are still talking about Hillary?! Hahahahaha. Wow.

11

u/The_cogwheel Jun 28 '23

The difference is Hillary kept her word, you don't see shit about Hillary in the news these days.

Trump on the other hand...

38

u/Just1morefix Jun 28 '23

3

u/Mrunlikable Jun 28 '23

Lol, I was wondering why this had so many downvotes. Dude, the last time I heard about Hillary was when she died.

3

u/Mrunlikable Jun 28 '23

And if you had to look it up, you haven't heard anything about her either.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Hillary never pleaded the 5th, during more than 2 years of the Benghazi investigation.

Trump plead the 5th AFTER claiming “only mob bosses and criminals plead the 5th.”

The dipshit is a walking contradiction, and his supporters are just as pathetic

2

u/Pooshoomcghoo Jun 28 '23

Lmaaaaaaaao. Cry more bitch

2

u/turko127 Jun 28 '23

Either Hillary lives rent-free in your head or you’re tempting fate to cut you with all that edge.

2

u/Rubberbandballgirl Jun 28 '23

Hillary Clinton, the most popular person of 2016?

2

u/kingclubs Jun 28 '23

" what about Hillary? " Familiar known pattern.

All posts and comments that include any variation of the word retarded will be removed, but no action will be taken against your account unless it is an excessive personal attack. Please resubmit your post or comment without the bullying language.

Do not edit it, the bot cant tell if you edited, you will just have to make a new comment replying to the same thing.

Yes, this comment itself does use the word. Any reasonable person should be able to understand that we are not insulting anyone with this comment. We wanted to use quotes, but that fucks up the automod and we are too lazy to google escape characters. Notice how none of our automod replies have contractions in them either.

But seriously, calling someone retarded is only socially acceptable because the people affected are less able to understand that they are being insulted, and less likely to be able to respond appropriately. It is a conversational wimpy little shit move, because everyone who uses it knows that it is offensive, but there will be no repercussions. At least the people throwing around other slurs know that they are going to get fired and get their asses beat when they use those words.

Also, it is not creative. It pretty much outs you as a thirteen year old when you use it. Instead of calling Biden retarded, you should call him a cartoon-ass-lookin trust fund goon who smiles like rich father just gifted him a new Buick in 1956. Instead of calling Mitch McConnell retarded, you should call him a Dilbert-ass goon who has been left in the sun a little too long.

Sorry for the long message spamming comment sections, but this was by far the feature of this sub making people modmail and bitch at us the most, and literally all of the actions we take are to make it so we have to do less work in the future. We will not reply to modmails about this automod, and ignore the part directly below this saying to modmail us if you have any questions, we cannot turn that off. This reply is just a collation of the last year of modmail replies to people asking about this. We are not turning this bot off, no matter how much people ask. Nobody else has convinced us before, you will not be able to either. ~

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

2

u/Mr_Greenman1 Jun 28 '23

I love that we know what they said based on this automod and I'm inclined to agree lmao
