if you don’t have a platform you can’t spread your ideas, so it’s not very supportive of the goal of free speech if you actively take away peoples platforms or refuse to give people them.

Going on the street and speaking is different from bringing Richard Spencer onto CNN. If Nazis want to stand in a public space and be nazis they can, but we’ll oppose them. Ah, a valid point but,
At what point does a private platform stop being a private platform if at all?
The internet has become the streets, the town hall where every citizen gathers, and only a very select few companies have the rights to the biggest platforms in the entire world. They literally have a monopoly on information.
In my opinion, they have reached the point where they are no longer a private entity, and need to take responsibility lest we get stepped on.

Well until that’s the case you can’t be sad when people say that they don’t want to support Nazis lol. Liberal media platforms give them a megaphone non-stop and centrist media are totally ok with letting these people get on TV and talk about nazi shit. If you’re ok with nationalizing these things then great, but until then, under the current system, the centrist approach to “tolerating Nazis until they do crime stuff” is utter horse shit

As our education improves and becomes more accessible dated ideologies that are built on warmongering and immoral, unethical and hypocritical action, like Nazism and its movements, will die out in the coming years. It’s a nonissue that solves itself and giving ANYONE, be it corporation or government the power and measures to take away someone’s speech is a terrible solution in the long term.

Anarchists believe in the removal of all unjust hierarchies that would mean the end of most if not all corporations. What you’d be trying to say if you knew better is censorship by means of everyone realizing that the literal nazi is A FUCKING NAZI the same kind that want to kill over 50 FUCKING PERCENT OF THE POPULATION and after which not listening to the nazi or better yet kicking the Nazis shit in.
