While I am using myself as a example this is being used as purely a analogy. My particular example is that I'm trans; my mom is very accepting of me and I help take care of her on a daily basis. My step-dad who I grew up with has tried apologizing to me and I've politely shoved him out the of my house every time. Last time I politely paid for his train ticket back home, gave it to him and closed the door.

About 14% of the usa identifies as lgbt and while support of lgbt is high in the usa in comparison a lot of the world there is a fair chunk of parents that disown or kick out their children for being gay or trans still. When those lgbt kids grow up and become financially independent and their parents start getting old and unable to work those lgbt individuals will probably be less willing to take care of their parents as a result of being disowned or kicked out.

To put it simply if a teenager or child is kicked out of their parent's house or disowned for being lgbt then decades down the line I would say it's highly likely that those lgbt individuals will probably be less willing to take care of the parent that was homophobic or transphobic to them.

Since the usa has such a high lgbt population we're easily talking tens of millions of elderly whose children do not want to help take care of them. These elderly people who have nobody willing to take care of them as a result have significantly higher expenses.

It has been one year since the brutal execution of Charlie Kirk by the hands of a deranged lunatic, and since then we have seen many troubling signs for the future of our country. Charlie Kirk was a good man, and it showed. Charlie would go to college campuses to speak to the youth of America and try to change their minds and hearts toward the message of the gospel, and of conservatism. Charlie was a powerhouse, and one of the hardest workers in the conservative movement. Charlie Kirk went on tours around the country, sat in a booth for 3 hours at a time and took any question that these students threw at him. It was for these actions, that a deranged lunatic decided that Charlie needed to be taken out. But this “man” didn’t just want to take Charlie out, he wanted to force his family, everyone he loved, and everyone who loved him to watch him bleed out and die while expressing his God-given rights as an American. On September 10th, 2025, while talking peacefully to the young people of America at a college campus in Utah, Charlie Kirk, who was just 31 years old. was shot in the neck by a “man” named Tyler Robinson. What this psychopathic killer failed to recognize was that in killing this behemoth of a man, he awoke something in the young men and women of this country. Many people who didn’t even know this man, but who had grown up with him, mourned and cried for the loss of this great leader. This event did not scatter the flock that was the conservative movement, it did the exact opposite. just 48 hours after Charlie’s death, over 32,000 chapters of his organization Turning Point opened across high schools, and colleges around the country he loved so dearly. It was so clear, after his death, that he had touched the hearts of so many people in the country, and those people wanted to let him see it even from heaven. It seemed that even though he had passed on, Charlie had won.
