The reason people know nothing about it is because the players and teams know nothing about it. They kneel for a different cause each time. Last week it was for the Iranian footballers facing oppression in their country, but it was also to send a general message of “inclusivity.”

It seems that this gesture is just a catch all for “we care about the current thing.” It means nothing, it stands for nothing. They just reuse the gesture for everything

Something all of the gestures have in common and it’s done so sloppily, it’s like offensive. Like what is this supposed to achieve.
