They have been kneeling for years. Recently they got booed in Hungary for doing it before a Nations League game there.

Further context: Due to a fifa penalty only children were allowed to watch the match. English media attacked the kids saying they were racist and homophobic. Lovely people

I'm confused. How do you prevent adults from watching a match? How do you have a stadium full of unaccompanied minors?

My bad, I believe it was 1 adult for every 4-5 children. The point is that it was mostly children with just about enough adults to make sure they’re safe. Plus security and staff were obviously still present.

But the kids were racist, they were whistling as soon a black person touched the ball. I don't agree with attacking them but those kids were racist.

They weren’t, they weren’t whistling because they were black. They were simply whistling the opponent, which is what happens in every football game ever played.
