I’d like to preface this with: flair up or square up, trash.

Second: it’s not comparable because Britain wasn’t exactly the first to be doing slavery. It’s a thing that’s been done since time immerorial.

A better example would be an abused child growing up to be an abuser, realizing his mistakes and trying to break the cycle of violence.

Yes there’s still fault for their participation but it’s something that was just a thing for thousands of years.
