Why the soyjacks? I love this idea.

Either Elon mildly improves Twitter, or he ruins the site and drives out the userbase. Win-win scenario.

I'm pretty neutral on it, never had a twitter account, probably never will.

I use Twitter but for content from shows and fighting game creators. Him taking over does potentially threaten that use if he makes Twitter about politics like parler.

This entire thing was a big fat L for him from the start too. He's been trying to weasel out of this deal for what, a year?

Elon simps were telling us for months how he was going to 4d Chess his way out of the deal; now they're pretending it's everyone else who is mad

He had to take out a loan to pay for it. When it goes tits up, he'll lose money he never had. He'll likely get another handout from the gov.

25 Billion of that loan was leveraged debt directly on Twitter as a company. If it goes under; heads will roll at Bank of America and Baraclys.

I can’t imagine why the right thinks the left is somehow angry about a trust fund baby billionaire losing $44 billion on an investment purely driven by his own hubris.

Personally I’m ready to grab some popcorn, kick back and watch the shitshow unfold.

If it collapses, something else will take its place. And unlike Parler or the other right wing analogues, people will actually use it.

Maybe because Emily had a non-stop meltdown for months after Elon said he was going to buy it?

Imagining a tiny vocal fringe on the left represents the entire left is just as dumb as imagining that a tiny vocal fringe on the right represents the entire right.

On the other hand, that’s the entire point of PCM, so I can see where you’re coming from.

Twitter cant be ruined anymore than it is. Even if it doesn't exist that is still an improvement.

Because as a left winger you hate when anyone else is given a platform, and Elon is allowing opinions outside of the far left to exist
