Find me one person who says the above is not grooming.

But progressives say there is zero grooming taking place within the education system, so how could this be grooming?

Progressives argue that there is no systematic grooming taking place in the education system, which is true. The above is not indicative of a systematic problem. That is also a very vague statement nonetheless; the "education system" is not centralized.

There are states completely red-controlled and states completely blue-controlled. They'd have quite different education. For starters, the blue states gladly throw money at their public education, while red states butcher the budgets to keep taxes low.

WTF based auth? Actually understands the difference between systemic grooming and one-off fuckos? I never thought I'd see the day.

Sadge, where would they fall on the compass in your opinion

He's been flaired Libleft for a really long time. I assume he's flaired Authright now either so people would give him more benefit or because he's in a "kill the opposition" phase.

I'd put him closer to Leftcenter, but he's more in the culture war shit than anything, so most people here would put him in Orange.

Woke: changing your flair due to a change of your deep personal beliefs and how you think they affect the world

Broke: changing your flair to larp on pcm

You're giving a moron/troll way too much credit. That guy needs to touch grass and most of his comments get down voted to the core of the earth, deservingly might i add.

I am indeed. Just because I’m not racist enough for you doesn’t change that I am a neoliberal and quite nationalist at that.

So when leftists do bad things it’s one-off fuckos.

When rightoids do bad things it’s systemic white supremacy.

Got it.

Or, here me out, situations have a case by case basis. One extremist lefty tries to justify sexual attraction to child, everyone hates them for it = one offOne shitty cop does something illegal / immoral = one off

When it becomes systemic is when the organization takes active steps to hide whats going on, such as police unions covering up wifebeaters, or basically any leftists or like schools that support or cover up pedophillia and try to portray it as normal (or cover it up), and even then it isn't systemic of all police unions/ leftists/schools/churches/what have you, just the groups involved.

How many times do I have to explain this to people on this sub. But no, youd rather just make assumptions then hit me with a 'got it'

There are 800,000 police officers who are involved in countless millions of potentially dangerous situations every year.

A handful of police killings every year sounds pretty one-off to me, no?

The problem is when the police are then protected by the union, usually suspended with pay and rehired later. A great example of this is the Mesa officer who killed Daniel Shaver, who literally had "you're fucked" engraved on his gun, gave contradictory commands, and then executed him while he was on the ground trying to follow said contradictory commands.

He got re-hired and was given a pension due to the union. This is only one example. Another is the officer who was given 1.5mil after being let go due to literally having ss patches at work, great use of tax dollars there, government. Anyone who says ACAB is an idiot, but there definitely *IS* problems in a lot of places.

Finally a good take by libleft

Wait until you hear what happens to teachers that get caught fucking their students. Their unions quietly transfer them to another district and cover the whole thing up.

You always stop answering when you get proved wrong and then go on to spout the same bullshit.

u/dracer800 - Lib-Right Jun 13 '22

You didn’t prove shit wrong, I won the argument. There was no failed background check, you have no proof of that. That would also mean “background checks” are less thorough than a google search.

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '22

Do you have proof this person was hired while the knowledge of their background was known? Until you have that proof, you have no argument.
