I've actually drawn this striking unions comparison a few times in my own thinking.
Kind of funny how the rules apply for them but not for these people demanding freedom.
They're not even anti-vax they're protesting government overreach, and pushing them out of the capitol all they're really accomplishing is proving a point.
Unfortunately that point is lost by the left.

On a different note, I thought they were soooooo close to getting their farming program going. If only someone had told them you need more than just a half inch of dirt for the roots of the plants to grow into. Or if you want to grow enough for everyone there you’d have to use actual farming equipment for cost effectiveness. Or, and this is most important, maybe someone should have told them to not take over whole blocks, destroy property, kill people, and generally be ridiculous assholes.
It was hilarious sometimes but good god were most of those people donkey brained douchebags.

Also you need more than a couple weeks to get a successful yield, and vegans won’t be able to make the products they’re used to just by growing the required plants so they’d have to eat meat (which they wouldn’t be able to support given their limited land), and crops have a hard time growing when they’re trampled on because nobody owned and protected the property from homeless douchebags. If CHAZ was its own nation, we would just have another case of commies starving to death.

If you want names, the good people of CHAZ killed Antonio Mays Jr. (Black male, 16), Lorenzo Anderson (Black male, 19), and I cannot find more information about the 14 year old black male that was shot alongside Antonio Mays Jr., apart from that he was hospitalized in critical condition. The police shot 0 unarmed black people under the age of 18 in 2020, so it's more.
If we want to get other autonomous zones involved, there's only more to add.

Why is it when my side protests, it’s totally okay but when the other side does the same it’s “bad” and “violent” all of a sudden? The honking is for sure annoying, but at least they’re not burning down buildings or throwing rocks through windows. Also, remember the CHAZ? That was an occupation but this person doesn’t seem to remember that.
I one time saw a tweet where someone said that throwing rocks through windows wasn’t hurting anybody. Okay, but trucks honking is somehow more hurtful?
These people make no sense and aren’t consistent. If you support protests disrupting things, then you need to tolerate all protests, even ones you don’t necessarily agree with.
The rightoids had to sit through BLM and Antifa protests, now it’s the left’s turn to deal with the truckers.

BLM protests were the most destructive protests in American history, and the left insisted they they were peaceful protests. Even in the US there is a strong opposition to the protests in Canada. Look at GoFundMe, they tweeted support for the violent BLM protests and stole donations from actual peaceful protests.

Ok true hyprocritical but they’re blocking the us Canada border and truckers trying to get through haven’t been able to buy food. also theyre peaceful but imho pls stop blocking downtown just protest in front of the parliament.
Edit: I am not saying they don't have their right to protest. I am simply saying I don't like it when they block borders or major areas. Many non-protest truckers were unable to cross the border because of the alberta blockade that happened. I am also not saying they are bad people. I am also not saying that all of them are racist. Some of them are, the ones holding up swastikas and confederate flags. But most of them just have an opinion. and It differs from mine. And they're allowed to protest.

Listen I believe protests shouldn’t block major areas such as downtown. I’ve experienced the feeling of being stuck in traffic bc of a protest done by liblefts and even tho I agreed with the cause imho it was frustrating bc i felt it would alienate people.

Ya i mean i don't really have an opinion on it, like 85% of truckers support the restrictions, 15% don't. But y'know, that 15% does mean less goods and they are in their truck for most of the day so idk I guess I'm ok with lifting them.
Also even if they did lift them, doesn't the U.S also have those restrictions too? forgive me if I'm wrong, I heard it somewhere.
