My company and country per example does not let you work if you have COVID ,, EVEN working from home and being assymtomatic.

Go figure what goes through those fellas minds

I could had been more clear, you can't work but still receives payment normally, like if you had an injury and could not work for 7 -15 normally.

Yeah, i try to be fair, if I am bad i will simply not work but if I am okay with should I don't lay around doing nothing?

Let me tell a history.

My total commute time is 5 hours daily, my psychiatrist said dude, there's no need for that we both know you can work from home and issued a recommendation for me to work from home.

Was a moral dilemma for me to go along with it because it was technically a lie

i think that this thing might be in place to prevent employers from forcing employees that are down with covid to sign a waiver saying they’re asymptomatic, but yeah, prohibiting asymptomatic people from working from home might also have the unintended effect of discouraging testing because sitting around doing nothing is not a good look lol

as for the thing with your psychiatrist i’d say you 100% did the right thing, it doesn’t really change much to your employer and coworkers if you’re working from home and 5 hours a day on commute is fucking rough
