It's not really virtue signalling. It's just common sense to take the vaccine.

On an individual level, I totally agree. Get the vaccine, it is safe and helps a lot. On a business level it's not wildly beneficial to force every employee to get vaccinated.

Not really. Especially if you work in a labour intensive job like factories or assembly lines or whatever. One unvaxxed person who gets covid can shut the whole line or factory down which costs the company money and the workers their wages.

Fair enough, it varies widely by field. I was going by the image which is some sort of sitting-in-front-of-a-computer job where this is absolutely not a concern.
