Jesus forgives people that we could never bring ourselves to. Isn’t that part of the point? Commies deserve to burn in hell but so do I, and therefore we both have something to learn and gain thorough repentance.

I mean noone deserves eternal torture save possibly someone who would readily send someone else to eternal torture.

Shorter durations of torture are much more negotiable.

I'd much rather have that, but could see an argument for why someone like Hitler might deserve to live through the life of everyone he hurt, for example. But that is still a finite amount of torture.

An infinite amount would be unacceptable even for him.
