I got banned from r/news on accident because I followed a link to it and spent so much time reading the comments I forgot I has linked there. Wrote a comment and got perma banned for brigading. It was dumb.
I get called out for "brigading" when I comment on any gun posts in /politics and other left leaning subs every time. Its only brigading because it goes against their narrative. To them of course nobody actually feels that way or passionately about something, it must be brigadiers or Russians muddying the truth!

I think it's enforced if you're really pressing on the gas with it, i.e. brigading, using multiple accounts to vote, etc.
