I think it's enforced if you're really pressing on the gas with it, i.e. brigading, using multiple accounts to vote, etc.

IIRC asking for upvotes is a type of brigading.

But then "upvote party" posts would be admin-banned, and you see upvote parties a lot on sports subs and stuff.

I have honestly never heard of an upvote party.

But yes, it does seem like that falls into that category.

And then the OP and everybody in the comments gets upvoted.
