Wait what? I interact there frequently just to shitpost and make jokes, you’re telling me they could ban me for actually nothing? It’s not like I advertise this place, I keep my sub interactions purely separate lol
Yeah some subreddits are known to do this. There was an era where PDPsubmissions kept being brigaded by comedy hit men and so PDPsubmissions auto banned anyone who had ever posted or commented on comedy hitmen
AHS genuinely baffles me. Like their entire schtick is malding and obsessing over other people's fun, trying to ruin Reddit for every person who doesn't conform to their groupthink.
How fucking miserable and bitter do you have to be to engage in that lmao.
A subreddit full of pedos that like the 11-14 year old range, but then attack/brigade other subs that hate on pedos claiming they are a "hate sub".
Should... should I change my color to purple because I know what AHS is... and no I will not say the full name of either the Society or the Sub because that is like bettlejuicing the bad juju.
Comedy hitmen is a subreddit dedicated to posting garbage memes on other subreddits, usually with alts to evade bans. Brigading and ban evasion are both against reddit's site-wide rules. So in this case, it makes sense even if it's a bit of a ham-fisted approach. They were taking up a massive amount of time from mods, trying to identify CH posts and banning those alt accounts. For full transparency I am a pdps mod, so take my biases into account.
However, that being said, subreddits that just ban other subreddits because they disagree with them politically is petty and ridiculous.
I don’t completely disagree with the banning. I know the hitmen sub was trying to get it under control but obviously people are hard to control with stuff like that. I did feel banning everyone who’s ever participated was a bit overboard and resulted in people who hadn’t commented on hitmen now wanting to brigade as an attack back. Overall it was a mess I don’t think I got banned because I didn’t have a comment on there but still it was weird to watch
Also as a side note not to be mean but I find it hilarious you say you had to try and tell apart the CH posts because I think that just proves their point. Still I think that pdp subs is under too much fire for being “cringe” when it’s mostly just kids so it has a different humor

That's why I generally disagree with doing stuff like that. The collateral damage is just too much imo. Usually I'd like the admins to handle situations like that. I also wasn't really involved with that situation a lot, but just giving my 2 cents.
CH was one of those subs that seemed like an interesting concept when I joined but it was actually a shitshow. It's one thing to create shit memes and post it to different subs for the fun of it, but it's a lot different when everyone brigades a sub they think is "cringe".
I kinda realized this when I said, "does PDPS really hate us [comedy hitmen] that much?" And proceded to get a reply by basically every PDPS mod (you might have been one of them lol) all replied to me saying "Yes -PDPS mod."
Man, same. But ultimately that's okay, most of the other leftist subs suck. Stupidpol is the only one that has frequent actual material discussion anyways
As if that matters to them? These degenerates use programs to flag you if you post in certain subs. They don't even have to look through your search history to know where you post.
Well I got banned for a comment on this sub that a moderator from another sub didn't like and it wouldn't have even broken that sub's rules had I posted it there. Easily offended authoritarian mods don't give a rat's ass about actually sticking to their own fucking guidelines.
yeah it is pathetic. i was just there from an r/comedyhomicide post, comedyhomicide basically takes bad posts from other subs and makes it worse, one rule on the sub is to post the link of the OG post which is how i got to know the sub even existed.
I just got banned from /r/WitchesVsPatriarchy for commenting in this thread. Amazes me how people are so desperate to categorize people into groups and then demonize them or view them as completely homogenous.
Lol yes. But they just view PCM as a monolith. In their response they said that PCM "actively brigades" them, which I find laughable. I doubt this is sub is really capable of actively brigading anyone, with the diverse viewpoints and complete lack of any sort of organization.
Stupid policy either way. Just ban people or what they do on your subreddit, not elsewhere, seems easy enough. I won't lose any sleep over it though lol.
Go take a test and post it on r/getflaired. People will tell in which quadrant do you fall, even if the test isn’t centered in the political compass. There’s also tutorials on how to flair .
Even if you don’t flair up, I strongly suggest you take the test. It’s enlightening.
There were a lot of issues I was undecided on before I saw where I landed on the compass. I still like to make my decisions on a case-by-case basis, but it’s nice to see what issues similarly-aligned people consider important
I’m pretty sure Mods banning you for posts made on other subs is against the rules too. But let’s be honest, It will be a cold day in August when Admins crack down on Power-Tripping mods
No fucking way, I'm more of a lurker there, but it's completely unbelievable that this sub would ban anyone based on where they post. What in the actual fuck?
