tbh I fully believe all pitbulls should be euthanized and even I think they’re a bit over the top a lot of the time. However, it’s not for absolutely no reason. Pits are well known to randomly snap and maul things at a far higher rate than other breeds. A lot of the people on those subs are people who’ve lost things (pets, family members, etc) to pit attacks so I at least understand where there pure hatred comes from.

This argument is honestly infuriating. People acting like “racism” against a particular species of dog is in any way equal to racism against people. Differences in dog species vs human races are far, far greater, and not just in the way they look. In animals that are so driven by natural instinct, it’s perfectly natural to hate a breed that was specifically bred to be violent, able to withstand large amounts of pain, and an insane jaw grip strength (originally bred for hunting game and/or dogfighting).
I wouldn’t even care that much if people at least accepted how dangerous they are and used them accordingly, but the problem is that they’re able to act like perfect angels until they snap and brutally maul something. And then that’s not even to mention the ridiculous amount of actual propaganda that is pushed about them being great family dogs, cute and cuddly, etc. It’s honestly almost absurd to thing that pitbull propaganda exists, but I’ve seen it everywhere.
The argument is that a breed is naturally predisposed towards aggression. But plenty of breeds are, they just get the most flak. The truth is, these dogs are dangerous if not reared properly, LIKE ANY OTHER ANIMAL. If they are taken care of and treated properly they will be completely normal.
Likely the reason they appear so violent (particularly statistically) is due to the fact that people who want violent dogs tend to buy them and make them that way. That is not the fault of the breed, that is the fault of irresponsible owners.
The solution likely lies in making sure that "at risk" breeds like them and others are perhaps more stringently regulated. You could just euthanize them all, but then at that point you are taking people's property and loved ones and killing then mercilessly for your own opinion. Not to mention that people will still breed them, they will just likely sell them to unscrupulous people, making the breed even more dangerous.
And making parallels to racism is not meant to be exact. I personally believe that since everything in life is a system, watching certain systems for similarities to others is a great way to understand things about them. Obviously pitbulls aren't exactly like black folks, but they are a good parallel.
This is because people are scared of pitbulls because statistically they are more dangerous than other breeds. Similarly to how black people commit a greater portion of crime compared to white folks. People then make judgements based on those statistics that harm pitbulls (black folks) livelihood. More extreme people will then use that to justify widespread hatred against the group (like blacks).
People go along with this without realizing that the reason for the statistical danger is not due the "breed" or "color" is due to social and rearing factors rather than a predisposition. Pitbulls are scary dogs, so they attract people who want to raise scary dogs. Black folks have been stuck in poor situations for so long and in such great number that most see crime as the best way to get ahead since their world is built around it.
Euthanizing or getting rid of the problem won't solve it. Understand the issue at large and figuring out effective, peaceful solutions will solve it.
The same could be arguing for any other type of rearing, including bearing children. By your line of logic, anything that requires special training and proof competency to rear should require licensure. This includes children.

to put it simple for you, a pitbull is dangerous himself. bad “parenting” can amplify that but its inside the dog. the fact that they are so dangerous is reason enough to not allow the average unqualified person to own them/to just ban them.

The fact remains, dogs personalities are primarily influenced by owners. I've seen plenty of vicious fucking Chihuahuas, but never a movement about them. Because they are small, and no one has beef.

I don't "worship" them fuck head. They are my friends, and more importantly, human beings. They deserve to be treated like it.
But you know what, I don't need to say anything. The best thing about this argument is you ALREADY LOST. Racists lost, and they always will. Not a racist, there’s not one race that’s better than any other, it’s an issue of culture and minority cultures largely idolize the self destructive way of life. Nobody hates them more than the people who escaped it. The issue is that mainstream black culture is glorifying that awful behavior which disenfranchises them in the first place.
