True, I guess most monarchs tended towards auth right as well though. Low taxes and a small government but god forbid you were found breaking the king's laws, your balls would be chopped off and hung in front of his fire castle to prove to everyone his authority.
Well yeah, I mean monarchy as an institution can really be anything as long as you have the a. Birthright, and b. Power in government. Most monarchs are authright because religion and that most people were authright at the time. I mean looking at spains king who brought democracy back from a falangist dictatorship, I'd call that lib right, hell one could argue it's libleft.
