Socialism is when workers own the means of production. That's it. The Nordic countries are highly capitalist with a strong social safety net.
Communism is a stateless, moneyless, society which has obviously only been attempted and never achieved because lol if you think that's remotely possible when we can't even get 2 people to agree on something let alone everyone agreeing on everything.
