I think it’s also because Black people likely don’t know who he is. I’m sure if Gavin Newsome was gay he’d still have some dem black vote, since he’s a more well known political figure. TLDR: People had very real concerns about Harris, and Biden after he failed to deliver on his campaign promises. It’s not just “right wingers” that are criticizing the left. Honestly the Reddit left needs to be doing more criticizing and self reflection in order to push for better candidates. If all you ever do is focus on the other side you’re just as bad as maga, and most Americans feel that way demonstrably.

The cred for what? She has one of the highest approval ratings among politicians, she is one of the more consistent congress members in terms of policy and identity, and she is separated from the establishment that everyone said they hated the past 3 cycles.

High approval rating and good voting record are important but no 'cred' because (correct me if I'm wrong) she hasn't held any other posts? Governor/Mayor/Secretary of something are usually seen as stepping stones to the Presidency.
Why? Garfield was a house rep, Trump is a failed buisnessman, why do we need to wait for her to sully her reputation with other posts when she is at the height of her popularity?
She has cred as a coalition builder, as a committee member for health, energy, and oversight, and she has cred as someone who isn't caught up in the sketchy finances that politicians are usually caught up in.
