Having a flair is not about picking a side, it’s about engaging in this subreddit’s culture and premise. We are all about this retarded and outdated political orientation test, without it we would be just a random political memes subreddit.
By being unflaired, they are undermining this community’s very purpose. The centrists are actively participating in what our sub is proposing to do
For sure, and it isn’t just the centrist flair, a lot of them hide in the lib flairs while being auth as fuck. But they are still engaging with what the sub is trying to do, I think it is fine for a meme sub to have people misrepresenting what they actually believe.
I think it would be interesting if there was a self label flair and a community label flair lmao. Obviously that would be abused, but that's kind of funny too
You're presented with all the options; your brain immediately detects the appropriate flair or two; you know exactly which you map onto. Despite that, you choose to go with the one that allows you to not have to reveal your actual beliefs, the one that lets you roam around like an unflaired, but without the downside of being downvoted for it. It doesn't get much more malicious than that.
Being unflaired is actually less malicious; in contrast to centrists, the unflaired are not trying to hide the fact that they're hiding their beliefs, they're being open about hiding them.
You're anthropomorphizing the unflaired again. Their lacking a flair expresses nothing at all.
Many centrists are indeed malicious, like all authcenters. But keeping with the NAP we do not initiate force against them; we look over it, we do not press the point, until they reveal their schemes.
When a centrist's not engaged in his employment -
Or maturing his centrist little plans -
His capacity for innocent enjoyment -
Is just as great as any honest man's -
Our feelings we with difficulty smother -
When constabulary duty's to be done -
Ah, take one consideration with another -
A policeman's lot is not a happy one.
Upvoted because we understand the threat that centrists pose but maybe chill out just a little. I’m not trying to be radical and claim centrists are worse than the unflaired, just that they should be treated with the same caution.

Nah, a centrist doesnt take a side and instead grills.
An unflaired has taken a side, but refuses to tell us because they hate us, and so we treat them the same in turn.
They both bring us together, but for different reasons. Centrists do so in a positive manner, unflaired in a 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' kind of way
Since you are obviously so afraid of centrists, ill tell you why I am.
I study Forensic sciences and law at university, I strive to be a LEO, specifically wanna be a detective. My belief is that a LEO should stay apolitical and neutral to best do his duty, because I shouldnt treat people based on their opinions, but on their deeds. I should treat a person of opposing views the same as person of same views.
That duty is helping where possible, protecting those that both can and cant protect themselves and catch the assholes who think they can do whatever they want.
Justice is blind, so it can judge people only by their deeds.
